Tottenham have agreed to sell Luka Modric to Real Madrid for £35m, according to 24Sata. #THFC #RMCF

I can't be the only one who just doesn't want Lloris. One of the most overrated goalkeepers of recent years.

Good shot stopper, commands the area, Agile. COMES OFF HIS LINE! ;) Yes please.

Hearing that Oscar to Tottenham is done. Just a few little niggles to deal with like add ons and naming rights. Confirmed Nextweek

If he leaves, thats exactly the kind of deal I want for him. Could probably get more from City and maybe even United, but keeping him out of England should give teams like Madrid a discount

Hoped we might get one more season, but..if he's going, better to Madrid than Manchester, and £35m will do nicely.

With DL's negotiating skills we could get Moutinho and still have a few million left [-o<

Could make a video like that for every keeper in every league. I want to see at least the last 3 seasons of every goal conceded, show how prone he is to mistakes, how often he gives away penaltys etc...

Ok once you've done all that let us know your thoughts.

Agreed, if he leaves, it's out of the PL or not at all. That should be a policy for all our players who wants to leave with CL in mind. No reason to strengthen our PL opposition. If I have to change my nick, Real Madrid is fine, and for 35 mill? Great.

So... Tiny Aaron? Big Tom?

Talking of names, I asked my girlfriend to sign up to the forum as In The Kitchen, but all I received was [-X

My point is that the video means nothing, so until I see a good few seasons of him in France (which I obviously won't) I have no opinion on him. The scouting team, however, should have comprehensive coverage of him playing for Lyon so I hope they have done the research and we dont end up with another Gomes

I can't be the only one who wants Modric to stay? For me, he's our best player and one of a kind. The way he moves on and off the ball, some of the things we see him do that make us go wow etc. I will miss him (regardless of what he did last summer).

We were linked with Lloris before he signed for Lyon. I'm not sure if that was simply an ITK link but I've always wanted us to sign him as he's a top keeper.

You're far from being the only one. I really want him to stay as no excitement of new signing will provide us with a player established at our club and with the same skill set.

I can accept if he is sold however as this will be his wish and sometimes we just have to let go, no matter how hard it is to do so.

I agree mate, he's a one off like Berbatov and I doubt we will ever see someone of such pure class in his position again at our club for quite some time. But I think it's more people resigned to him leaving than people wanting him to leave....

I just wish Luka would end up being happy with us. Maybe winning a trophy this year and finishing in the top 4 (GETTING champions league football) could sway him. But is that too much of a risk? his contract doesnt run out at the end of this season but I believe it runs out at the end of the next (2014?).. so he'd be even cheaper if he's not happy?

I was under the assumption his contract had three/four more years to run? But if not and it is just two years I think its too much of a risk for a player who's not happy and contract running down. Plus even if we qualify for CL, if the likes of Real Madrid are interested he'd want to go anyway regardless of what we achieve.....

Revionism at its finest. Some Spurs fans thought that. Most I knew were revelling in the fact that the next big thing since Mourinho was turning out to be a complete dunce and enjoying taking the tinkle! And a lot of Spurs fans I know were gutted when Chelsea fired him because they were worried that Chelsea would start performing like they should have been from the beginning of the season!

How about you STFU and don't talk for me or any Spurs fan?

Chelsea fired Mourinho and Ancelotti.....end of discussion.
