If we are going to have a new manager we should get rid of the problem players first, not give them a chance to worm their way in with another short term effort, give the new manager the best possible chance with a clean slate and a squad of players that can actually be relied on.

The problem with that of course is that it's a list of one, Lamela.

As it's the match thread, keeping it OT, my prediction for tonight, a 6/7 goal Villa win and a couple of red cards for us, players getting themselves out of it as soon as they can.
Problem players for Mou might not be problem players for our new manager though.

Stretching back how far?

One of the best attacking players on paper this season in europe.

Some of you lot don't know what you've got.

Started the season on fire, his numbers were at the level of his ability. He should be one of the best attacking players in Europe on paper and on the pitch, he is exceptionally talented.

For the last few months his performances are a long long way from his best, he’s clearly knackered, maybe carrying an injury too, whatever the issue is he shouldn’t be on the pitch whilst we have a reasonable alternative, it just extends the period we are without him at his best.

This season is dead, he should be in major overhaul being rested and prepped for next season.

Haven't you been reading the posts regularly? It was his turn in the barrel, every couple of weeks we have to dig out one of the club employees, I personally blame the balding steward who stand in front of me and blocks my view of the goal.

Oh how true.

If there is a drastic change today it shows Jose is still trying at least.
There is never any doubt that he will try what he feels is best to win. It's just that what he tries tends wo work less and less as he gets older and the game evolves. Luckily he has charm, charisma, and such likability that he will always be a fan favourtie.
