So, what happened today?

Got a call today for an interview at Schenker logistics tomorrow! I really really want that job, and I really really need it too, as I'm in my last month in which I get paid from my previous employer. After this month I'll only get 60% of what I previously got, and that just ain't enough to pay the bills.
Good luck

HR emailed me today after I had chased saying if im not redployed im redundant March 31st
The person I spoke too got it wrong, considering I found out on the 1st March I didnt get a role and HR didnt even speak to until the 5th I dont think under a month is a long enough period and I will be telling them that tomorrow
HR rang me today to apologise for giving me the wrong information not once but twice
I have also been asked to stay until the End Aug to help out with a transition project
I'm happy with that as it gives me 5 more full pay days, will be extra in my payout and give me more time to get myself sorted from a future work basis

fix my Mini Q issues.

Got a fudging tax bill which is more than two months of my net income.

Will pay for a days work for a serco track and trace contractor though.

Ouch! How did that happen?

Last minute shenanigans.

Screwed up on moving company monies out of metrobank when it was looking shaky into my own account which we had to put through as personal income rather than just moving it back.

And then compounded with the requirement to forward pay for 2021 where I will now be overtaxed.

Well, watched the debacle in Woolwich and, rather than stew on the result, retired with Lady Norf to our sun-kissed, west-facing back deck where spring was brightly and firmly asserting itself. Sunshine, Oka cheese and baguette, a bottle of very nice Monastrell red, and a nicely rolled reefer of the home grown Green Crack produced in our own garden last season and life was good again.

All of this playing out to the wonderful, youthfully exuberant tunes of Little Joy. Terrific band that, sadly, only produced one album. But every spring, the bright melodies and upbeat lyrics - "Take advantage of the season..." - ring round my brain:

(Hindsight being 20:20 and all that) - Couldn't you have treated it as a loan and then only paid tax on the benefit of it being interest free?

Wow mate. How/why did you get round to stopping it today?

I only found out last night.my wife checks the joint account transactions from which broadband goes out and I guess I just thought I was paying for that myself.

It’s a bit brick though they would have known there was zero a to it’s on that account and that the contract address did not match the banking address.

I’ll write to them though they should really give me some money back. Worth a try.
