*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace FC ***

He doesn't seem well. He's shaking a little, and losing his thoughts. Still a clam, mind.
He was frothing, reminded me of the Voldemort Gooner and it’s hard to fathom what can generate that venom from watching a football match. I think he’s trying to steal Keane’s thunder but he’s becoming a parody with all this ‘in my day flimflam’

Well played all. Moura, Kane and Bale standouts and Sanchez was good again bar letting Benteke get away for the goal. Won a lot of aerial duels against him which is never easy.

Phew. Truly magnificent individual performances from Bale, Kane, Reggie (who I thought outstanding) and Hoj. Up and down performances from Winks, Lucas, Sonny, Dav and Toby. Lloris had nothing to do. Really, the only bad performer on the day was Doherty, but that's basically expected now.

I hope Mourinho plays Tanganga going forward when Aurier's not fit. As I said at half time, whether it's the crap first year or the COVID, Doherty is done. Leave him out and let him go at it again fresh next year - as it stands, he's costing us.

Think we've given ourselves too much to do in terms of top four, but it's still faintly there. Everything - everything - depends on the Arse game next week. Win that, at their ground, and we'll be coursing with confidence with the only tough games left being Villa away, United at home and Leicester away. Draw or lose that...probably done for us.

@milo - Reggie for me.

Whilst Keane might’ve never played for us at least he was a Spurs fan as a kid but Souness has about as much love for our club as Jamie Redknapp :mad:
Souness is supposed to be a Spurs fan too, he has come out and said it on tv too

Just saw the highlights again, and those goals in the second half are just sublime. The stuff you dream about seeing. Pure football gold, out of a textbook. I really hope this spur us on especially for the final.

Micah is right, Kane did look a little nervy with that 2nd goal. Perhaps that assist record was on his and Son's minds.

Hopefully they go on an assist bonanza again

The monkey has been there for a little while. Both have missed reasonably easy goals from an assist by the other. Pleased they now have the record. Onwards and upwards.

Really good in the second half.
Sent out to get goals.

If Palace hadn't scored when they did they would have scored with ten minutes to go and it would have ended 1-1.
