***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Cheat$ki***

They are utter failures on every conceivable level, and it's utterly baffling that they ever managed to get here, to our club. What on Earth were the scouts thinking? Steve Hitchen? Whomever else we dredged up to run the rule on these guys?

How did we end up with such woeful League 2 dross everywhere? Aurier, Sissoko, Dier, Davies- how awful must our scouting have been to pick these stroppy, talentless cowards up?

Have been questioning Hitchens for ages. He should be sacked immediately.

I honestly thought it was a lot better than Brighton, the xG must have been higher.

I think the penalty call was wrong too, after seeing it about 25 times I still say Dier was fouled.

Absolutely agree that Lamela was the best player in white, but he suffers the same problem as the other offensive players, holds on to ball too long. Emirates Marketing Project would make 8 passes while we make one. Liverpool 's front three pass and move quickly which pulls teams apart. Son has never been a good passer but makes up for it with his shooting ability and pace. But you cannot have Bergywn, Sissoko moura and Lamela on the pitch alongside Son and create anything meaningful.

Definitely plays a part, you need to be pretty technical to play those 1/2 touch passes and we don't have the players. It's also about how you shape the body and receive it, I remember when Modric was here he could turn and receive at the same time to create space for the next pass. N'Dombele and Le Celso can do that at their best but we're not a team who have the ability to play like that.

We're still capable of playing better than we are, there's good players to work with.

Tottenham 7 shots 2 on target
Chelsea 18 shots 2 on target

That last stat amazed me. Did they really on have one shot on target other than the pen??

Emirates Marketing Project would make 8 passes while we make one. Liverpool 's front three pass and move quickly which pulls teams apart. We don't do any of it well up front. Son has never been a good passer but makes up for it with his shooting ability and pace. Holding on to the ball too long usually comes from players not showing. Watch City, 3 options all the time. Us = hiding.

We started playing too late. We sat back too deep from the off. I think Mourinho is scared. Why? I don’t know, maybe he knows that his job is on the line. Why else would you play a back 6, given that Sissoko and Hoijberg were almost as defenders?

Hojgjberg does try hard but he looks awkward at times and ends up making mistakes..
anyway loosing at home to scumsea couldnt get much worse..
no passion from the kick off...no killer instinct!

I am sorry but Vinni isn't the beast we need to lead the line in Harry's absence. He just doesn't get in the faces of the centre halves and hold the ball up well.

I wanted and expected a reaction from us tonight. But Chelsea pressed us with intent and we wilted. We didn't have enough players on the pitch who could get out of chelsea's press, so all we're left with is to defend and break.

Sissoko didn't play badly, neither did Davies. Both are assets and useful players. But in a game like this you need some technical ability. Players who can side-step a press and play a pass. When you don't have that, players stop showing for the ball. The intent to play is lost. That is on the manager.

Levy will now be thinking about viable alternatives.
