Spur of the moment
Frederic Kanoute
Had a bust up with Billy Nick when he was still a trainee over not being selected. He was a fiery little prick even then.Sure he said before he did he want to leave but couldn’t get in the team

Surely this makes me an OMT GHod and Joe stays for a bit longer
Atkinson was awful as ref today, he brought it every time they fell over
He's always been like that. Doesn't matter how much of the ball you get , just fall over and you will get the free kick.Atkinson was awful as ref today, he brought it every time they fell over
Got to the ground at 2.45pm, popped in the shop, all the staff so welcoming and friendly
Everybody had to go in via the nearest entrance to the exit of the shop, loads of staff making sure people had the QR code ready
Quick temperature check and search and in we go
Met my pal, then got in a queue for a beer and food, then we get told you can have 2 pints max per food transaction
So 2 sausage rolls and 4 pints for me and my pal and we was off to a good start, I thought you would have to have a burger, pizza etc but no
Loads of places to sit which you had to do if you had a beer
Found my seat, my pal wasn't next to me but sat/stood next to me all game
Great seats above the corner flags, again the staff were just so pleased to see everybody
Game started, great noise from all the fans, my throat is red raw already
Some great chants, Your support is fudging brick was funny
Half time, again so easy to get another beer/pie and go to the toilet
Game wise, perfect performance, they had the ball but did nothing with it, we ended up with more on target than them
After the game all the players came over, obviously happy but so professional you can see it's just one game we won
If it had have been them they would have been doing cartwheels and hanging out of car windows as thats their small time meteorology
10/10 loved it, so glad to be back HOME !!
I didn’t get the Sky coverage today, it was quite clear that we got ahead and just sat back and defended, yet they’re going on about possession like it means something in that game scenario? Kept trying to imply Spurs fans are not happy to watch that week in week out. They came across as completely out of touch with where we are as a fan base now. I think the vast vast majority are on board with what’s going on here especially with our current fixture schedule.

Love Ledley in that!
The guys on the view from the Lane Podcast (which I really like) made the point that it is only the press/journalists who make this point of spurs fans not being happy with the way we play whereas as a fan base we are (I know I am) really happy with this pragmatic way of approach in the hunt for trophies. It is just newsos/journalists trying to create a story out of nothing.
The game is about glory and glory = trophies!
Hopefulluy we will start to open up against some of the "lesser teams"
I guess that innate feeling of stress I had in each game was correct. That City game was genuinely stressful. Chelsea much less so and Arsenal basically none. [emoji23]Chelsea created less chances than city
The shot map and XG were quite different
here’s a great analysis

We're playing some lovely stuff on the break. You won't see many goals better than Son's this season. I'd feel differently if we were playing like Graham's Arsenal side.
I think that the players are going through a big mentality shift and some fans need to do the same. We are now setup to play on the counter attack but we don’t need to be such a bag of nerves when the opposition team has the ball more than us because we are damn solid in defence and we are not all ‘sexy’ and going to crumble under a bit of pressure. Ok it would be lovely to play this all winning, swashbuckling pretty football for 90 minutes but that is pure fantasy and I am enjoying watching us develop into a solid unit with a more pragmatic approach that still enables to be sniper and devestating in attack given half a chance.....I agree with that 400% - when we start moving on the counter - you really feel like something is about to happen and that we can score everytime we go forward.
These games are funny in reflection - i am a bag of nerves throughout the whole thing....and the press will say tomorrow that we were in complete control
