So, that VAR eh?

Mane's goal for Liverpool was ruled out....................then VAR correctly changed that decision
Llorente's goal for Spurs ruled out for handball...........then VAR correctly changed that decision
Sterling's goal for City in the 93rd minute was given.....then VAR correctly changed that decision

Pretty bloody good this VAR, eh?

Meh, it VARies. :p

Wow! What a night! Can’t find the words to sum it up but still not sure how we got through.

Son is gonna be a big miss but we’re through and that’s all that counts right now.

Is the first leg at home or away?

Home.

Might work in our favour with Son missing. Llorente up top for the 1st leg with Dele,Eriksen and Moura behind, but please play to his strengths.

Then Son back for the 2nd to play on the counter

Apart from making one of the greatest moments in our history a little hollow

Got to sell this bloke. Made of paper. How many games a season does he miss through injuries!

Im getting to that stage unfortunately. Ive defended him for a good 6 years now but we need some reliability. We could have done with another attacking player at points during that game but I guess we had no options whatsoever.

We need someone to give Eriksen a 'rest' when needed (or a good kick up the bum, my GHod I've never been angrier at a player in my life).

Btw. It was a great corner from Trips for Llorente. Both guys have had their down points this season but let’s give the guys some kudos for combing to score one of our most important goals in recent history.

Well done lads.
Firstly, THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO KICK CORNERS HIGHER THAN THE FIRST MAN'S SHINS

Secondly, THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD TAKE CORNERS SERIOUSLY!

Llorente’s goal wasn’t ruled out was it, it just went for review right?

Mane’s goal should not have stood, because he’s a dipper clam.

Correct. The way I thought it worked for the goal to have been over-ruled VAR has to show definitive proof that it was handball. One angle showed possible handball, the other angle showed it appeared to come off the leg.
There was no way it could be over-ruled after numerous viewings as there was no CLEAR proof.

For me any decision on VAR that takes more than 20/30 seconds cannot be over-ruled as it obviously is not a 'clear and obvious error' (as they quote) if it needs so many views

I don't give a brick, say what you like, rip certain players apart, moan about the manager, criticise Levy, I don't care. We were only there to make the numbers up, Pep told us all yesterday they would win, and he was right in a way. My favourite bit of the night was Pep doing his poor mans Klopp celebration when they scored the goal that never was, followed by Poch's class celebration with his team. Christ knows what sort of team we have left for Saturday but honestly I don't give a brick.

My pulse rate was about 150 during last ten minutes. After City's 5th goal was disallowed I cried. The most emotional match I've seen in my lifetime (without exagerration).

Same here.

I was stood up in front of TV shouting at Llorente to keep it at the corner flag. Then when he blew the whistle, me and Jane were hugging each other crying bouncing up and down in the living room with the dog barking its head off...

I think I heard the United fans next door cheer a little too

You know partly I'm thinking "woah, Ajax looked brilliant against Juve, how did De Ligt monster Bonucci like that?"

And partly I'm thinking "We can just buy their players after the game"

And partly I'm thinking "Dusan Tadic of Southampton, really????!!!!"
