Nah your just adding that spin on to what was a fairly typical 'when the going gets tough' performance from him

As I said earlier, I feel he has played himself out of a move to Barca or Real over the past couple of months. Expect him to sign a new contract soon!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before on the Internet. If this takes off it will break the whole thing.

:D:D:D

Let it be. We were never going to win the title - focus on getting 80 points.

Winning the title requires you to not constantly fold whenever you have a chance of going top or getting near the top. We do it like clockwork, every single fudging time. We are pathologically scared of it.

Focus on securing CL football. That's all we have to play for now, and we are in a good position to do that.

And full credit to Burnley - they played better than us, fought harder than us, ran more than us, and deserved the win.
Burnley didn't play better than us. They don't PLAY football.

Disappointing how many people are buying into some narrative that this is typical Tottenham. Sky is nauseating. Don’t live in their world.

We lost a hard away game and didn’t play well. We’ll be back. A reminder that we didn’t sign anyone this summer and haven’t got back in our home ground yet. If we were going to win the title, it probably wasn’t going to be this season.

Time off really hurts us
We never get up to speed quickly enough

Almost as lethargic a performance as we’d come to expect at the start of a season.

One silver lining is that at least Kane got to shake off some rust ahead of the 2 London derbies, which the players will surely up their games for.

Lamela in particular and to some extent Moura have both suffered incredible tail offs in form in the second part of the season. Is it me or do they seem to offer little from the bench? In fact our subs, Son aside, often cannot get into games. Llorente was the same, Sissoko also.

You don’t factor pressure into the equation. When we play our game we are as good as anyone. When we have any real chance of glory - semis, finals, chance to go top or close to it, we just don’t turn up.

Today had no more pressure than many other weeks. We wouldn't have gone top. We had to win our last game, we did. Same the week before, we won.

I agree about semi finals. I just haven't seen it in the league this year. I agree we don't have the strongest mentality, I just don't see that today or in the league this year.

I think Poch is a league manager - I wouldn't be surprised if his first cup with us was the league (if he wins a trophy). He is very good at getting his teams to bounce back and good at putting long streaks of wins together.

Arsenal only broke their trophy drought because they had a tinkle easy semi (Wigan) and final (Hull) and they went 2-0 down in that final anyway! Liverpool also could really do with a lucky set of circumstances and an easy end to the season with no strong rival (doesn't look likely) to get over their drought.

Moura gets a pass as it’s his first season, although I’m not sure why we waited so long to give him minutes last season

Lamela needs to be Improved on.

How can you pick on two players that played what 15 mins?
What winks, or son or Eriksen? Those were anonymous today and for one of them it wasn't his first time recently.

Have just got in from work, tried to avoid checking the score as had it recording to watch when I got in but got a text when the first goal went in and kept looking after that. Very disappointing result, always hope we can put the pressure on but rarely happens. I see Kane was probably Motm and a lot of the others were poor, this was a worry for me all day that they wouldn't put a proper shift in like they have been doing once Harry was back. Almost as if they believe they can rely on him to get the result for them , which to be fair he has done many a time the last few years. Will reluctantly watch the game now and fully assess.
