Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Wasn’t it confirmed that they were actually doing something to the corners because they were too tight? MK posted the article a few pages back.
Making the pitch smaller and increasing the distance between the stands and pitch aren't they?

I'll refrain from making any cynical comments about making unreasonably ambitious pitch distance targets to start with.

so without wishing to throw fuel on the fire of what has become a very sensitive topic, I posted an article that Matt Law from the Torygraph that I get sent by email which mentioned the pitch being resized due to limitations around taking corners, but I've not seen it mentioned in any other news outlets or on the web anywhere.

My initial concerns about the corner are pacified with the pics of other grounds, I guess it's something I'd never really paid attention to before. If we are resizing the pitch I thought there was a minimum size for new stadium so perhaps we won't beyond it just to take the sidelines as close to the front row as possible?

Chris Colwin’s latest YouTube video from NWHL...

Only two things not quite right in my eyes. The two smaller walls of the South stand that join East and West stands should be lower or at least glass panels?
Corner flags have to be more level with the pitch, They need sorting! ...get it sorted...lol

Other than that it has to be one of the best stadiums from around the World.

I wonder how many fans it would hold if spaces between the seats were standard? As I understand ours have wider leg room.
I spose to finish off we could have complete standing in the South stand...
I do hope the atmosphere holds up with the design of the high roof.

Well done to Mr Levy and those who have made this fantastic Stadium possible.

Come on you Spurs...we are Tottenham from the Lane..:)

The pitch should be between 60-90 meters wide and 90 to 120 meters length, although it cannot be 90x90. But 105x68 has become the "standard" size. Ours is the same as wembley which is 105x69, so we can just make it 1 meter narrower to get "standard" pitch size and get 0,5 meters of extra run up on each side. Not much of a difference really, but it was sufficient as it was, so it would make it a tad better.

I thought the premier league had now agreed on a standard size

Only old grounds with limitations are allowed smaller

It definitely seems like they are doing something to the corners in Cowlin’s latest video. And I guess the reason they put that tidbit in the email you received is because it’s not massively interesting news to anyone, even Spurs fans - hence the massive eye roll whenever it gets mentioned in this thread - but it seems like they are indeed doing something to the corners to make it easier to take them, which is all I was ever saying would be nice to see in the first place.

Yeah, looks like they have been making the flat area a bit bigger

Is there any way that we can ban mentioning of corners on this forum? I am struggling to think of a conversation about them that hasn't become cyclical and pointless.

As Bedford said, the rules were changed in 2012 so everyone who can do so must have a pitch measuring 105x68 metres if they want to play in EPL or UEFA competitions...

I think someone doctored this for the London stadium and replaced ‘pitch’ with ‘technical area’. At least they could ignore the whole UEFA section

If anything wouldn’t it be further because of the technical areas?
That's what I thought, but looking at the various pictures I could find it seemed marginally nearer on the dugout side and closest behind the goals. Although it wasn't easy to tell.
The stadium looks great. The thing I liked most about the old WHL was the proximity to the pitch. The new stadium doesn't look too bad in that respect, but that is what interests me the most.
