***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs ManMour***

Still think it's a shame nobody put one on Young properly.

Now you are playing my tune. He comes across as a vile character.

It was though a great show from everybody last night. Many made me once again made my misgivings look very foolish..special praise to Trippier in this regard.

Eriksen was majestic! There's a man crush going on here I worriedly think, he look very well groomed last night

Apart from the first 10,5 seconds, I thought we looked a bit off the pace for the first 20-ish minutes. Gave Yanited a lot of space, and I felt we were going to get punished. Thankfully we managed to keep tighter at the back, and exploit all the room their midfielders left as the match went on. After 2-0 it was all straight cruising, really. Great performance by us, extremely toothless by Yanited. We could've easily scored another 2-3 goals.

Our great form at Wembley continues. If we can win vs Newport and Millwall/Rochdale, which we obviously should, we should be heading into another semi-final on practically our home turf. City are amazing this season, but I reckon we stand a good chance in the FA Cup if we can produce performances like we did last night at Wembley.
I agree, but thought at the time that it was a bit shorter. First 10-15. We struggled to get our pressing right and our attacking midfielders got caught between pressing and dropping down to help out. Leaving too much space for our defenders and deep midfielders to cover. The players and/or Pochettino figured it out though and we improved a lot.

We created chances throughout and that was good to see.

I'm still not sure exactly what happened last night. Apart from Spurs handing ManU a 2-0 whuppin', of course.

Our press in the second half was outstanding...or was it that ManU had just given up? There was no snap to their play, whereas every player in a white shirt was swarming around the pitch. Obviously it took a fine Spurs onslaught to get the opposition into that shellshocked state.

I am a little worried at the lack of goals from all that dominance -- De Gea wasn't really tested -- but I guess there's no need to take extra risks when you're 2-0 up and cruising.

We actually wiped that smile off Mourinho's face and exposed the purchasing and recruitment at "the riches club in the world" as flawed.

Not worried about a lack of goals at all. Normally Kane scores at least one with those chances. Just one of those days in front of goal that he luckily has very few of. We should have had a penalty too.

Had we scored three it would be the first time conceding three for United this season I think, and they've only conceded twice a handful on games.

United looked poor for at least the final hour. We played a huge part in that with our excellent pressing, defending and possession play.

What a superb performance last night making the nightmare journey to Wembley last night (thanks Central Line & Metropolitan Line!) all worthwhile. Only just reached my seat in time to see the first goal and many must have missed it due to the tube delays.

Our pressing last night was back to the White Hart Lane displays in the latter half of last season. It is really good to see Dembele back to his old self and Eriksen just orchestrated everything. I thought that Davinson Sanchez also gave a very composed performance at the back while Trippier and Davies both were much improved compared to recent games.

Quite honestly everyone of the starting 11 put in a top performance and in the 2nd half United just couldn't get the ball. Could easily have been 7 or 8 goals by the end if Kane was his usual clinical self or better decisions had been made on passing and shooting. We have certainly played a lot worse than last night and scored 5 this season. Now onto Liverpool and I don't think they will be fancying playing us much after viewing last night's game

I have laid off Sissoko simply because I think he has been OK, but last night proved why it was imperative to get more options for the bench when our first 11 are fit. We simply have to have Winks fit too. But there is no doubt whatsoever that the team clicks and purrs when Sissoko is not on the pitch. Everyone simply seems to have more trust for each other as a team. I also thought a key aspect of last night was Trippier and Davies having really good aggressive games. Again, this comes from trusting all going on around them. It is indisputable that the flow was way way better last night, similar to Liverpool at home. I do not expect to see Sissoko start the next two league games for this reason...the one thing I am intrigued about is how we handle Dembele. He was imperious last night, but I fear he will need to be rested Sunday? I wonder...

Fast start please. Pretty please. Let's play like we are the underdogs ala Real and Dortmund.COYS.

Got both my wishes answered -in spectacular fashion!

Certainly didn't expect the start to be quite so fast!

Top notch all round. Eriksen out of this world (especially surprising considering his recent illness). Poch got tactics spot on. Same again ( but with slightly adjusted tactics) on Sunday, please.

The Pirate knows you know ( winks and cackles).

We played nothing like against Dortmund or Real, against Utd we were dominant all over the pitch, not counter attacking.
