Lennon may help to combat Hazard but could also occupy Aspilicueta.
I am not sure he is injured just likely to be prepared for exit.

It has been 4 years since we beat Chelsea in 2010. It was a crucial win which enabled us to qualify to the CL. But we have failed to beat them in 10 matches since then, including the FA Cup semifinal in 2012. But we do have a good league record against Chelsea at home in recent years, winning 3 and drawing 4 of our last 8 matches against them. Our only defeat during that period was in 2013 when we lost 2-4 despite outplaying them. Hope we will put up another good performance against them and get atleast a draw in this match.

I think this match will be won or lost in midfield. We need to win the midfield battle to get anything from this match. Chelsea have a strong midfield so we cannot afford to let the dominate the midfield. So, we need to play experienced players like Dembele and Stambouli in midfield. Despite his inconsistent form, I think Dembele can step up against big teams like Chelsea. Will still prefer Capoue to start but since he is out-of-favour, hope Stambouli and play his best and stop the Chelsea attacks. I think Bentaleb-Mason partnership will get outplayed if they start.

Eriksen didn't have much impact against ManU. But hope he will be back to his best to create and finish off the chances. Kane too needs to be very clinical in front of goal as we are not going to get many chances in this match. Somehow feel Lamela should start in this match as he is so unpredictable which may cause Chelsea problems. Chadli is still struggling to get back his form after returning from injury. But hope he will be fired up against Chelsea like all other players.

Our defence did well to keep the clean sheet against ManU. It will be great if we can stop Chelsea scoring somehow. Lloris was at his against ManU, stopping almost all of their attacks single handedly. Hope he will be at his best again. Vertonghen and Fazio seems to be improving their partnership in defence. Hope they will avoid any silly mistakes in this match. I think if we can stop Fabregas and Hazard from getting any chances, we will have a better chance to get something from this match.

Can see this being a tough match. Hope we will turn up with the right meteorology and performance. A win will be great but a draw will be acceptable.

Any official team news yet ?

Hope we will start this match the way we finished against ManU. It will help us greatly if we can get an early goal or two. That will boost our confidence. Hope we will play to our best and beat Chelsea for the first time since 2010.

Had another dream about the match (just play it already!!) not good this time, 3-1. That might be due to my concerns and fear over an avatar of Drogba's bald patch :(. Other than that, i'm positive and hopeful as usual :)

That's a great shot. Would cause the kind of pain that would stop a striker stretching for most of the match.

Let's hope for some of that today.

After the Mourinho victimisation *******s they'll get 3 pelanties when the wind blows them over in the box, of course they'll miss them all and we'll win 1-0. \o/

Spot on. They have the better team/squad so losing to them is no disgrace, but if we do, at least go down fighting

OK. I know Chelsea are sitting pretty on top and have a side full of world class players.

However, I am optimistic about this game.

In our last 8 home games against them, we have had 3 wins, 4 draws & 1 loss. Not bad.

Also, after half the season, our record against the sides "currently" sitting above us is not too bad:

    -Chelsea Lost 3-0
    - Emirates Marketing Project Lost 4-1
    - Man United Draw 0-0
    - Southampton Win 1-0
    - Arsenal Draw 1-1
    - West Spam Win 1-0

    That is 2 wins, 2 draws & 2 lost.

    Our problem has been dropping points against teams below us;
Crystal Palace, Newcastle, West Brom & Sunderland & Stoke.

As this is the late game, I hope our supporters will have recovered from last night's happenings and give the team maximum voice.
