1.87 meter, that isn't exactly short. He is decent enough in the air. He would play CB for us. He usually plays RB for Belgium due to them not having good full-backs, but CB is definately his best position.

Not to knock your assessment but he alongside Fonte at CB was a big part of Southampton keeping the sort of defensive record they did.
Anyways, after signing Wimmer this summer and Dier and Fazio last summer, I can't see the sense in us signing another CB unless we are selling Fazio or Vertonghen. I agree that Wimmer won't be a regular starter this year, but he should still get games in the midweek fixtures whilst Dier fights it out with Fazio to partner Jan in the league.
