Sadly we're not alone in the transfer market. :(

For all the ones that are about to lose out on.

MARCA claim Real Madrid are close to selling Di Maria to Monaco for €35 million, a lot more than they were expecting for the player.

Chelsea are hoping to beat Manchester United to the signing of £15m-rated Fredy Guarin, 27, after making an offer for the Inter Milan midfielder.

Full story: Metro

And they're at it again. How many midfielders does one team need????

Should be a good signing for Fulham, a proven Premier League goal scorer with plenty of fight and leadership qualities.

Clint Dempsey has undergone a medical with Fulham with a view to returning to the club on a two-month loan.

Dempsey spent five years with the Cottagers before joining Tottenham in 2012.

...The move could go through when the transfer window opens on January 1, with Dempsey returning to the United States for the start of the new MLS season on 8 March.

Dempsey scored 50 goals in 184 league matches for Fulham before moving to Spurs, a decision that did not please many Cottagers fans.

Good signing for Fulham. Quite amazed he has gone back there though after what happened before signing for us.

Jürgen will be happy...

@J_Klinsmann: If this goes through, it’s is a great opportunity for @Clint_Dempsey and @FulhamFC”

The Old Trafford side are also poised to make a move for Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana, 25, who is rated at about £15m.

From what I have seen of him recently, and compared to some prices banded around for other players, I think thats a steal

Arsenal have been quoted £22m if they want to sign Saudi Sportswashing Machine's French midfielder Yohan Cabaye in the January transfer window.

Decent signing for anyone, let alone them, but who would miss out in their midfield?

Valencia are set to make a January move to prise forward Edin Dzeko away from Emirates Marketing Project.

The Spanish club are understood to be in discussions with regards to a takeover by Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, who will make it his priority to secure Champions League football for Valencia next season.

Valencia are currently 11th in La Liga but if the proposed buyout was to go through, Lim would be prepared to make around £40million available to manager Juan Antonio Pizzi in January.

Marca reports that Bosnian frontman Dzeko has been identified as the club’s leading target, as they look for the firepower that would bolster their European hopes.

Dzeko has started just six Premier League games this season for Emirates Marketing Project and just three since August, with the outstanding form of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo often keeping the 27-year-old on the substitutes’ bench.

City will be reluctant to lose the striker in the January transfer window, with Aguero ruled out for up to six more weeks with a calf problem, while Stevan Jovetic has been blighted by a series of injuries since arriving from Fiorentina for £22m.

Valencia will face competition for Dzeko from Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, who are thought to be considering a £15m bid as they hunt a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is expected to move to Bayern Munich upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the season.

Just what football needed, another crazy billionaire owner.

We should be all over this.

Maybe they'd be interested in getting Soldado back if they have money again.
Could allow us to get someone more suited to english football.

Relegation-threatened West Ham are facing a nervous January after it emerged that they may have to sell star youngster Ravel Morrison.

The England Under 21 midfielder and former Manchester United youth teamer has impressed in his first Premier League season, but could go for £10million or less in the transfer window because of a clause in his contract.

The Daily Telegraph report that if the Hammers receive a £10million bid, they would either have to accept or quadruple Morrison's £15k-a-week wages to keep him. Sportsmail understands this to be true.

Don't particularly want him, but wouldn't mind us putting in a bid just to **** them off.

Love this bit. Admitting that 99% of their transfer stories are pure bolocks.

Morrison leaving the Spammers in January would signal the beginning of the end for them I think. No one will want to go there with them sitting on 15 points halfway through the season
