I think there's limited chance that Kane signs a new deal for a few months...hard to see the rationale for him doing so I think we'll get a price agreed within the next few days - end of the week say - and we're probably / hopefully firming up plans to spend it

I'm sure there's more about his weight, laziness, attitude if anyone cared to search. Anyway, about a million light years ago he was rumoured to be of interest to Galatassary. Hopefully they formalise an offer for him

Its how it read! Its other people publicly expressing the same thing, rather than some earth shattering viewpoint! I'm sure it wont be the last before he retires either

exactly. Not sure why it was such an issue with the guy 2 pages ago

Track record as in being something which has been with him all his career i.e. when he was in France and when he was at Spurs, rather than his weight, laziness and attitude being something that suddenly emerged when he came to PL and earned a pile of cash

Some of that is what is said overtly in public. Petit says "Is he overweight? He looks a little bit". Mourinho says that he's not in the condition to play, but not injured - need to read between the lines. The quote from hs coach in France saying he was overweight was indeed when he was young...

3rd post up from the bottom on p259 2nd post on p260 (esp. 2nd bullet in it) ...then subsequent responses were you dodged the question. You said that we can't criticise players in case they had something in their background like Dele did Look, Ndombele has a track record of being overweight...

Not sure what you’re going on about.Suggest you go through pages on this and other forums and you’ll see many criticisms of many players. Would be the same at any other team up and down the country. Your suggestion that any player is above criticism as a result of them ‘dealing with something’...

I’m not sure GLC is the right performance barometer to use! for different reasons, he hasn’t performed at Spurs but I’ve been told by Tommy that GLC isn’t allowed to be criticised as we don’t know if there’s something lurking in his past which is the root cause

But per @tommysvr you can't criticise Lo Celse in case there is something going on behind the scenes and we dont know what he's dealing with. That might be the cause of his underperformance You can probably also get away with being overweight, like the rest of us, unless you're a professional...

OK, so you won't criticise Dier or any other player in case there's something else going on behind the scenes?

I think calling him out for being overweight, lazy and lacking application is perfectly fair for a footballer. Your view ("You just don't know what a footballer is dealing with") that he should be absolved of any criticism due to there being a very small % chance that something horrendous might...

I think the club definitely are 'happy' (or accepting) with that outcome. Its been reported numerous times. We'll hope to get him to sign but accept the consequences if he doesnt
