What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Crikey. How can Bentancur have a duel success rate of 20%, that is mostly what he is there to do. He certainly isn't there for his progressive brilliance, ability to receive and turn, or haircut.

Given that Palhinha is old and on loan, and given Bentancur's duel success rate, I can see us prioritising that pivot point with our next purchase.

I saw Elliot Anderson play once for Saudi Sportswashing Machine, on TV, and thought he looked reeeeeeally good but probably unavailable. Shame.
We need to winkle these fellas out sooner.
Miley looks quite good, but I guess Bergvall/Gray are our versions of him.
I've never seen Hayden Hackney play, but people say he is good.

The good thing is, there is always another 10 players on the production line every year, we just need to pick one.
Or trust Bergvall/Gray to actually PLAY and go for it.

Hackney will be one that will sign for someone like Everton and everyone will see how good he is, IMO
He has learned loads from Carrick

When Destiny is on the pitch, it offers so much more for the likes of Odobert and Xavi. Balance is everything, and the fact we only have one fit LB is a travesty. Ben Davies can obviously do the job, but given his injuries, etc, I think we have to get another through the door who can offer competition.
We absolutely blew it by not signing Hincapie IMO, so I am hoping we address this.
I'd bid for someone like Raum at Leipzig or Garcia at RM (albeit he is a tad short)...Gonzales at Bologna could be good, and domestically, Mitchell would be decenbt too.

Some people may say a striker, but we have four on the books, the trouble being that the ball rarely gets that far. We are weak on the left hand side, so I believe we need another LB but more importantly a natural left winger. Ultimately, the only creative mid fielder we have is Maddison, and we are unlikely to see him this season. We never play balls through the middle, and this is making us very predictable, especially as we don't have a good left winger. I believe our priority should be a creative mid fielder, followed by a left winger, then a LB

So who could we realistically get? The problem being is that strikers rely on service, and under Frank that doesn't happen!
