I bet they are earning more than the vast vast majority of players in world football
palace now have apparently more players than us on over £100k and so do west ham according to our fans
wages clearly matter but it has to come from somewhere
My expectation was this window was the one where we started to add the star dust signings
Kudus and Pahlihjna are getting there to that bracket

It's not about ange, it's about this perception that one change and everything will be fine.
Get rid of Poch and this squad will improve.
Nuno doesn't know what he's doing.
Swop out royal, or reggie, or Sissoko or soldado or any number of our players over the years.
A new dof, a new recruitment agent, a new owner.
Well other than a new owner we've tried all that and guess what, it's never worked.
It is not one, it's multiple things.
Changing ange, and I was all for changing ange, was never going to fix all our issues, despite what plenty of people were saying in February and March.

What you say is obviously so true. Is it perhaps human nature that some people want single root causes to focus on in life? It's definitely not my way of thinking.

Mostly agree, but I doubt we will perform as badly in the league this season. Hopefully Bayern is a preseason outlier.

Preseason is meaningless, even the PSG game in my opinion is nothing more than a glorified friendly, but I'd be willing to bet many of those who poo pooed our winning an actual bona fide trophy moan like fudge if we get beat in a nothing "final".
