Levy/Munn have to help Ange this window, even if it's just a CB

We can muddle our way through till Maddison/Bent are back but we are going to struggle big time without another cb if Romero is out for a period of time.

We would have been lining one up anyway as we sold Sanchez without getting a replacement.

Hopefully our early promise means we’ll buy a better CB than we would have otherwise.

There’s no way in hell we’ll be at the end of Jan without buying at least 1 CB. The whole club knows that’s the major issue. It wasn’t the plan to be this light at CB but we received an offer for Sanchez too good to refuse after the UK transfer window shut. Everyone knows that’s the number 1 priority.

Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Bournemouth's English forward Dominic Solanke, 26, as they look to sign a striker in the Summer. (Sun)

What are people's views on Solanke? He looks like he could be the real deal if he has the right 'Ange' attitude?

Seems to have really found his feet in the PL now. Can do a bit of everything. I don't think there's any doubt he'd improve the squad.

Perfect for Ange: Solanke "works really hard", has "got very good physique" and "a great touch on the ball. He's quick but often what impresses me the most is when he looks like he's lost the ball, he somehow manages to get out with the ball, no matter how tight the situation is or how difficult it looks."

It never clicked for him at Liverpool, and he wasn't exactly free-scoring in the Prem for Bournemouth, albeit in a team that got relegated.

However, he did well in the Championship and has hit a run of form this season. Snippet from his Wikipedia page:

Maybe worth a punt at the right price, but he's unlikely to come cheap. Home grown and contracted to Bournemouth until 2027.
