In any case, we'd be better served by putting Eriksen and Lamela on the wings and bringing Capoue back into midfield in the second half. So, Daws on for Lennon and Kaboul switching positions with Dier in the second half should be the aim, imo. If we had eleven men, I'd have suggested replacing Ade with Kane (seeing as the ball isn't sticking when we do get it up top), but we don't have that luxury at the moment.

Yep. I think Dawson needs to be on the pitch. This match is tailor made for a man of his abilities. The front 4 are not doing half enough to retain possession or win it back

I'm not sure crossing at a BFS defence is the way forward.
 
Penalty? Sending off? The only question that matters is why the **** are Naughton and Rose still our full backs. They should have been replaced
 
We need Holtby on, someone who is going to put them under pressure and is more than capable of passing the ball simple.
 
Very poor half from most, including the "comfort zone" players.

Certain players a let down yet again. Kaboul has been getting worse by the game, year by the year. Lennon starting the first game of the season in the year 2014. 9 years after his debut. In decline for years. Say no more.
 
Now we are going to struggle with possession I think Benteleb needs to come off as he is not winning possession.

Capoue back into midfield and bring Dawson on. Save the other sub's for later in the game.

Naughton is unlucky tbh. Rose has bee ok. We've been atrocious at defending balls in the box. Same as last season.
 
I'd bring Dawson on to get an established defence again after the send off, and Holtby in midfield to get another runner there.
Think Pochettino has underrated Holtby's input to our good pre season and the teams seemingly easy transition into Poch's style of football
 
Anyway I still think we look dangerous and weirdly this could favour us as the onus is now of west ya to actually play football
 
Gotta show some balls here....and work our nuts off!!! I can still dream of boos for fat sam at the end when we sneak a 1-0 win!!!!

cant see us getting a clean sheet though.... at this point I would snatch for a point.
