*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Le Saudi Sportswashing Machine - Official Match Thread ***

Strikerless Spain system it is then.

Thought we looked better against West Brom when we switched to that anyway (I know the red card contributed too, but we became more fluid)

Why on earth is Caulker starting? We are asking for trouble with him,Naughton AND Walker all starting together in the same back four.
Annoyed with AVB if he is resting Verts,BAE and others for the Lyon game over five days away.
PL is the priority!

An all-English back four - something of a rarity these days in the Premier League.

The same four players won up at Sunderland and drew at home against Manchester United.

Ade's form in the second half of this season (along with many others) certainly dipped. Regardless of whether he did or didnt score approximately the same amount of goals, he was an integral part of a team who gave away an 11point cushion in the second half of the season. Only an idiot would argue that his form was the same in both halves of the season.

What kind of person uses aliases to repeat an untrue assertion? I am not an idiot-Ade had almost identical goals and assist in the second half of last season which in fact showed that his form held true while other players form dipped.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine (4-2-3-1): Tim Krul; Mathieu Debuchy, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Davide Santon; James Perch, Yohan Cabaye; Yoan Gouffran, Moussa Sissoko, Jonas Gutierrez; Patinkle Cisse

Substitutes: Steve Harper, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Vurnon Anita, Cheick Tiote, Sylvain Marveaux, Gabriel Obertan, Shola Ameobi

Hey Greg, what formation is likely today?

True but that back four(some of them) were at fault for RVP's goal which cost us a win and Caulker also got away with a clumsy and naive challenge on Rooney.
Why not have a French defence if communication is an issue? Lloris,Gallas,Verts(can he speak/.understand French?),BAE + Kaboul when he's back. Looks better than our defence today.

I've not been on here for a few days what's with the t shirts?

From BBC Live

Tottenham's players are warming up wearing t-shirts with the message 'Get well soon Joe' for Joe Parks, the son of Spurs goalkeeper coach Tony, who has been involved in a serious car accident.
