I think he’s better than what we have now. Maybe not good enough for what we want to aim for but he’d make some difference. He gets goals for a start.

They should be up for every game.
It's frustrating when, yet again, we have too many players playing at walking pace and wanting to play the ball backwards.

Then they will complain when the fans show the frustration.

The bolder part is EXACTLY my point and I’ve not seen anyone say we’re good enough for top 4 personally, but I obviously don’t see every post.

On the flip side if Brentford win I think they go 9 clear of West Ham and therefore pretty much becomes a 2 horse race for the 3rd relegation spot between Leeds and Wedt Ham.

Precisely.

The range from this group is say 10th/14th I think. 10th with competent management. 14th without.

Add in the decent 3 that are injured and the range becomes more like 6th-10th.

Yeah but that was/is linked to him playing tactics vs his natural game - Ange didn't allow for a playmaker in the mould of Maddison so as he adapted to the role required of him his game declined (that's a criticism of the player being able to adapt to a different/particular role rather than just an attempt to knock the tactics btw) - I believe in this team we'd be using him in a manner closer to that of his natural game.

People may think we have bad players
I don’t. I think we have better player than what we have seen a lot
I don’t think the coaching is adding anything and I don’t see much leadership at times
Both are really important in this league

I think we still overrate our players, some players really rate Vicario and constantly say he’s better than Raya for example. I would be fairly content with top 8 and a decent run in the CL. I think European football via the league may be out of our reach personally but still doable.

That’s a strawman argument! Literally everyone’s saying these players are operating at a poor level in a Spurs shirt. No one’s disagreeing with that, it’s why there is a negative atmosphere around the club this season.

Where do you think this squad of players should be, or the performances you expect from this group of players. If you think what we are seeing is that then fair enough.
