From tomorrow the level crossing next to Northumberland Park station will be permanently closed. The existing station footbridge will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge/ramp. This is part of the scheme to add a third track on the line between Stratford and Angel Road.

I have gone into that fish and chip shop next to the crossing, ordered cod and chips, the guy has gone out and caught the fish in the north sea come back and fried it and the barriers have still not gone up.
