Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Gray is the one that baffles me. He was very close to signing for Frank at Brentford last summer. He did well against Burnley in the first match of the season and barely been seen since (understand he's been injured lately.) Would love to see him with Palhinha for a bit. Like a midfield version of Naybet and King (to borrow a @Gutter Boy-ism)

Yeah, what the hell is up with that!? He keeps persisting with pedestrian Bentancur, yet Gray has played well the very few times he has been given a chance this season. I just don't understand this blind faith in Bentancur. He's had a couple of decent games, but apart from those he's been a complete liability this season. It's very frustrating.

Joe Hart mentioned it on MotD, wish that Vicario had been as vociferous about that as he’s been with Bergvall this season as might’ve helped halt their momentum a smidgen if we’d avoided conceding that 2nd goal just before half time.

Tottenham had more reason to feel aggrieved in their 4-1 loss at Arsenal on Sunday.
When Eberechi Eze scored the Gunners' second goal, Bukayo Saka, Martin Zubimendi and Leandro Trossard were all in an offside position in front of the Spurs goalkeeper, but the goal stood.
"I think this is preventing an opponent from being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the line of vision," Joe Hart said on Match of the Day. "As it leaves his foot, Trossard is in [Guglielmo] Vicario's line of vision. Offside in my opinion."

Look at the non foul in centre of the park with I think Palhinha and Merino, wasn't a foul, ref doesn't see it or give it, arsenal badger the and suddenly it's a foul.
Even though he clearly does not see it the ref overturned the decision purely on them appealing.
We accept way too much, Romero, our captain who is allowed to speak to the ref, got booked for complaining that Merino had dived three times, why do we never complain.

Maybe Frank just sees us as a worst team then Brentford. He's playing in a way he hasn't for an age.

Nothing to do with the magnitude of Tottenham, or managing at a higher level, just purely based with working with them everyday.

if that’s the case then he’s doing something pretty drastically wrong, and maybe that would explain a lot.

Yeah, the guy who wanted Brennan Johnson and Gray at Brentford has now decided we have a worse team than Brentford.

Of course that's it, Frank is actually bang on to set us up the way we do - Can't expect to get any semblance of attacking moves going when you have players of Gray/Bergvall/Sarr/Xavi Simons/Kudus/Muani ilk. Punting it forward to a striker who everyone knows can't hold the ball up is definitely the way to go....
