I did the top 10 best places to live earlier this year.

The Economist have released a top 10 worst. Countries are as follows:

10 - Ivory Coast
9 - Iran
8 - Cameroon
7 - Libya
6 - Pakistan
5 - Algeria
4 - Zimbabwe
3 - Nigeria
2 - Papua New Guinea
1 - Bangladesh

Strong showing from Africa. 6 out of the top 10.

Very surprised to see Papua New Guinea (commonwealth) at number 2 spot.

Re: brick Holes

so its the 10 worst places to live....from someone whos never lived there and from a west point of view. nice

Re: brick Holes

Dude, the Economist is about as unbiased as you're going to get

It is economically liberal, pro-globalisation, pro-immigration and pro free trade

Re: brick Holes

Anyone want to compile a UK one?

My top 3:

Liverpool
Birmingham
The wrong side of the river

(Honorable mentions go to Portsmouth and Saudi Sportswashing Machine).

Re: brick Holes

lets be honest Africa is mainly a total brickhole, its hardly wrong is it

The choices aren't surprising. Either corrupt countries, mental countries or ones that have recently gone through turmoil. PNG is a bit of a surprise, maybe. I don't know anything about it! Just seems out of place with the others.

Re: brick Holes

Doncaster. Every time I have to change trains there you always see the scruffiest weirdest looking people on earth.

Mate I totally agree. I get totally weirded out when I go on the other side. Its like i lose all sense of balance and normality. Its fudging weird. Putney, I like the area but I just lose all senses - its fudgein weird.

I have vowed to never ever move or work over on that side. fudge hat brick

Re: brick Holes

Had to go into Crawley town center on Friday with my youngest lad.

I was genuinely scared.

Hate the place.

I still maintain Liverpool is a great city to live in, don't think I'm going to change your mind on this one though scara...
