After the Bournemouth game we cannot play Johnson especially not in a game against the Caravan Club

Odobert needs to be playing more... otherwise, we should've loaned him out or sold him. I think, and hope, we will see him improve this year, on the condition that he can actually have a chance to develop.
IMO, RKM should be starting up front as that's where we will see the biggest improvement in the team, but Simons has probably been promised to be deployed as a central attacking midfielder most of the time. We have options on the left and I think having Simons behind Kolo Muani will cause teams headaches, provided the rest of our midfield and FBs can perform the job of controlling the ball/possession.

He can't really show an end product without playing though. It's like businesses hiring people "with experience", so that people without experience will never get a job, and hence no experience.

Note he and Tel were due to play vs Luxembourg today, but the Luxembourg bus fell into a ditch, causing minor injuries to 8 humans (staff/players) so the game was postponed.
