I'll you lot a little story. When I joined this forum I told a friend of mine. He cam off of the forum because he told me it was full of lefties. I actually didn't believe him, because in all the years I have attended Spurs I have never met a lefty face to face. I stand corrected, they do exist and the few there are all appear to be on this forum. I have never understood people with left wing politics or people who are woke, because they live in a world of idealism. When the idiots on pitch take the knee on Sunday I'll be booing them, I suspect you'll be clapping them

OK I'll educate you. Our infrastructure is creaking the seams and we simply can't deal with the population growth we are experiencing. Secondly, it's had a negative effect on our culture and identity. All over the countries we have ghettos is areas such as Bradford, Luton, and most large towns and cities. All that said, 99.9% of people don't wish any of these immigrants any harm.

The Pro Palestine bunch hate Jews and want them irradicated from the planet. In brief they are no better than Hitler was. They claim it's about territory, but if they bothered to read history books they would see Jews were living in the area thousands of years before Mohamod was twinkle in his father's eye. These Jew haters fall in to two categories. The Asian Jew haters have been indoctrinated into this from birth due to their religion. The white virtue signallers hate Jews because they represent capitalism and financial success, something the left hate.

As you can see the two things are very different

Our infrastructure is creaking at the seams due to continued underspend on public services by Conservative governments.
The same ones that want to privatise the NHS and replace it with a system like the US has.

You are very eloquent in your description of Pro Palestine but made no comment on the right wing anti-immigration NDSAP lovers who think exactly the same about "Johnny Foreigner" as Pro Palestine do the Jews. Maybe because you're one of them.

how old are you & where did you live growing up. Most large cities have so called ghettoes look up Manchester Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Sheffield in the 70s 80s & 90s. i grew up in Tottenham in the 70s & 80s & eventually wood green they were considered ghettoes by others but not by those who lived there. we were a mix of black, white, & most nationalities you can think off. Some of my best mates were immigrants who would do anything for you. strangely the only people our little community didn't like were the NF they scared genuinely decent hard working people with there racist views.

Most Spurs forums are very left leaning but I concur that, in my experience, the vast majority of match going fans are not.

Probably tells its own story.

A lot of what you've written is pretty poor but I have to pick you up on this one. I'm pro-Palestine but I don't hate Jews, am not anti-Semitic and don't want Jews eradicated from the planet. I'd always have been fairly neutral on the Middle East but I find the events of the last two years pretty disgusting and have educated myself on the recent history of the area and find myself on the Palestine side of the argument (albeit a two state solution would seem fairest to me). That doesn't make me anti-Jewish though.

I know likening people to Trump is almost getting into Godwin Theory territory but this myth that our countries were some sort of utopia before immigrants arrived is rose tinted glasses in the extreme. I hear it over here all the time. We've never had it so good. I grew up in the 80s. They were brick in Ireland. Yet, they were less brick than the decades that came before. We're better off now than we ever have been. There are still problems like there will be in any society because utopia doesn't exist. Blaming immigrants for all those problems is just taking the easy way out. In my experience, the UK is not much different.
