Roberto crossed to the far post, Rafinha headed back across goal to leave Munir the easiest of tasks to nod home.

28.08 - Goal to Barcelona - Arthur - 0-2
Big switch from Miranda to Roberto, he rolled it back to Arthur, 25 yards out, right of centre, unstoppable strike into the top left corner.

72.10 - GOAL - SPURS - SON - 1-2
Nkoudou into Davies, cross fell to Eriksen, shot blocked by Cuenca, loose ball converted by Son from 12 yards, clinical finish.

74.04 - GOAL - SPURS - NKOUDOU - 2-2
Aurier's cross missed by Son, missed by Palencia, Son backheeled to Georgiou, his goalbound shot blocked on the line by Mingueza but Nkoudou there to drive home the equaliser.
 
With Sissoko's hammy, Wanyama, Winks and Onomah injured, Dembele and Dier tired, this is a great push for Levy to open his famous golden cheque book and sign a marquee midfield general.

OR time for him to look for coupons at the back of the drawer in the kitchen with the sandwich bags and the clingfilm

Having justed watched the World Cup who do you think is available that he should buy and what price and wages do you think they would cost?

I would have gone for Doucoure at Watford. He has shown enough raw ability for Poch to get his hands on and improve even more. Fully adapted to the PL as well.

If we cannot afford a player like that then there is a problem.

He's rubbish. No point in wasting our money.
 
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Alli and Eriksen shuffled back into midfield to help out initially. Maybe in a 433. We have a bit of cover behind Kane with Lamela, Moura and Son to fill 2 spots but not much more after that. Gradually the CMs will return and we will get back to normal.

Would still want at least one new addition though in either CM or AM.

Barca probably have at least 50 players in their youth and reserves team that are good enough to feature regularly for almost any other team. It's a shame that some of them will probably never get a senior appearance as they rot in the reserve team.
 
Amos pinging the ball around with cool. N'Koudu had a decent game. He's never going to be a world beater, but he can be a competent player against non-CL opponents. Shame Edwards didn't get a run out. Skip looked good as a sub. Georgio also used the ball well. Our youth players are technically better than some of the seniors, but they don't always have the physical attributes.

Aurier needs to develop consistency. Can be a real handful, if he can just do the basics without mistake, he could do well. A hybrid of Tripper and Aurier would be perfect!

CCV looking more mature. At this level against a Barca B he was excellent. Maybe not always as alert as you'd want defending against top top players though, for me same applies to KWP. 3 RBs, would we sell Trippier if someone bid crazy money?
