I was listening to a File on 4 (Radio 4) investigation into "Hope Sussex", a school (sorry, not a school, a "community hub") for homeschooling children taken out of mainstream schools. Run by anti-vaxxers (covid was a pLandemic), anti-establishment, ex-BNP members. One of them quoted David Icke early into the programme which was all I needed to know really. But I feel sorry for those kids.Has obviously drunk from the same water fountain in Television Centre as David Icke and Neil Oliver.

Worth a listen on BBC Sounds.
To be fair Lib Dems under Clegg and Change UK never had a sustained 7-10 point poll lead. If current polling is repeated at a GE then Reform will end up with the most seats in Parliament. The more accurate MRP poll by YouGov suggested though might not be enough for Farage to be PM, suggested that most likely outcome is that Starmer might be able to cling on to power in a minority government by cobbling together Lib Dems, SNP, Greens etc in either a very messy coalition or a confidence and supply arrangement. Would make for an utterly disastrous 5 years because the government would have to get pretty much every non-Reform MP to be available and on-side to get anything through Parliament and any rebels at all would basically block anything. Was hearing the same thing about Nick Clegg in 2010, as well as Change UK in 2019 being the party that would alter the face of British politics forever.
A week’s a long time in politics, never mind four years. Who knows what the political landscape will look like by 2029.
Farage (and Trump) could be dead by then.
