In that particular post you didn't mention Reform, street or area. I responded to you comparing being beaten up helping your mate & @LutonSpurs being beaten up for the colour of his skin. Luton told you his story instead of sorry to hear that you responded with everyone gets beaten up. This is why I replied to your post.

I did read the last page of the thread. I haven't responded to any post regarding Reform the lady in question or the area issues recently although I have my opinions. Your post wasn't about those things.

Nothing in geopolitics and economics is fully "sorted out". You've got to continue working at things. Even years after the GFA there are still terrorist groups operating in NI with support and funding who don't believe in the peace process. Trump at least is forcing and challenging these issues and shaking up the globalist status quo in his own way. Getting stuff on the agenda and forcing people to take action is the first step in getting something done.

When consensus isnt going to be reached you need to force the issue. Methodical progress and need for consensus led directly in my view to many of the geopolitical problems in the world today. There has been no sign of a consensus on Israel/Palestine or on Russia/China for decades for example. Trump is the only type of western leader some of these guys are going to respect and listen to.

He's a zero sum type of guy. There has to always be a winner and a loser in any interaction, though as you can see with the tariff nonsense, that is often him/his side that is the loser, and he doesn't realise it. He has a child-like understanding of most things and sooner dementia takes full hold and they cart him off the better for the rest of us.

Can't agree with that. Most of the issues are deep rooted, historical and nuanced. And of course commonly religious.

The only reason he has their ear is he is of their type ie dictator type. All outcomes are geared towards giving them more power and to make them feel better about themselves. Millions of people need a better outcome, not just a few.

You think Trump can cut through the flimflam and simplify these issues? Nah. With his flip flopping brain and more concern with what time he's tee-ing off tomorrow, his idea of being serious is just dishing out a dose of bullying.

Was hearing the same thing about Nick Clegg in 2010, as well as Change UK in 2019 being the party that would alter the face of British politics forever.

A week’s a long time in politics, never mind four years. Who knows what the political landscape will look like by 2029.

Farage (and Trump) could be dead by then.
