I cannot see us going into next season with three specialist strikers when we only play one up front. Two strikers and a handful of players who can fill in there seems much more likely to me.

I think we will go back for Berahino who can play in place of and alongside Kane as well as in one of the 3 attacking positions behind a central striker and another striker. Potch stated earlier in the season that he would consider playing 2 up front in the future. I think if we had two quality strikers when he joined the club he would have utilised them together.

We do not want to be in a position when we only have 2 strikers and one gets injured when we are playing midweek CL games and trying to challenge for the title.

Unfortunately when you we face quality teams like Dortmund we will continue to find that players who can "fill" may simply not be good enough, especially if one of our strikers is injured or suspended.

That's possible but it would probably mean us moving on one of the players behind Kane, Chadli looking the most likely.

I am not sure we will go for three to be honest, I hope we go back for Dembele ( Fulham) in the summer. 19 years of age and has scored 16 goals in 41 games (some of them games as sub).

He did but he did nothing up front

He just doesn't suit our game

It's like the comments about GInola on another thread.... Their spurs players of old as their flair players not team players IMO

We are all about the team now and cannot carry passengers because there a goal threat but don't do the rest of the game. More disappointing with Chaldi is he has all ten talent but hasn't shown the aptitude for our new game IMO. If he was sh1t I wouldn't mind

I don't think that he is any worse than our other back up players but anyway...Harry Kane ;)

I think he is simply because he doesn't work as hard, but he is better than a lot of sides back up players. We need to strengthen our back up options next season and I think it would suit him and us if we was given the opportunity for regular starts elsewhere

But when he does work hard, you find something else to criticise. Chadli is a decent squad player, most clubs would be delighted to have an option from the bench or to cover with such a decent goal return. He's had a stop/start season this year and it has impacted on his game in some matches but he has also had some decent games too. I would imagine that there is a fair chance that he could move on in the summer, because I think that we could get a decent price, he isn't holding down a first team place and I think that we will need to free up some space to bring in other attacking midfielders/forwards. If he does stay though, I think that he still has something to offer.

When he does work hard I compliment him... Tow Agnes spring to mind and both were last season. Chelsea at hoe a and Arse away. That's the issue. He show is he can do it and when he does he is a starter not as squad players she has everything. When he doesn't he is almost invisible.

Did you watch the Dortmund games? He had 15 touches in the first game and that included centres... He and a prime chance to bust his balls to stake a place for the team but just didn't do anything Of merit... Son was all over the place and despite having a poor game technically he should have had a pen that came from hard running and also go scored a goal. You could notice him an his failings in that game Because he was involved even if playing poorly. You don't notice Chaldi unless he is scoring and were hardly struggling for goals.

Imagine Chaldi goal threat with Sons or Lamella work ethic. That's what we need.

Our whole game now is about the team being great than than the sum of the parts. He simo,y does t fit in with where we're going and we can't have passengers for flashes of what they can do.
