Formula One on Sky

Really enjoyable race from 2nd to about 8th was so close for most of the race, lots of good overtaking, pit dramas. Great stuff.

amazing how delicate these tyres are, even just taking worn boots offline was catching out alonso and webber

Only saw it until about lap 40 but it looked a half decent race. Had to step out for a Christening, looked a good race up to that point. What was the finish like, any intrigue?

Yes, plenty

Raikonnen was running 2nd up until around 46? and with his tyres basically down to the wire he was holding up a good 10 cars behind him with roughly 0.5 of a second between each-other - unbelievably close

Eventually he gave in and got overtaken by around 8 cars in the space of half a lap! A great race ensued as a result between Button, Vettel, Webber, and Hamilton in the next 7-8 odd laps right to the end. Very exciting finish for a change - mighty close.

Mclaren team are just tinkling me off. Same problem every race and they dont think there is a better option? even the crap teams dont mess up their pits stops this regularly. They have to look into this intergrated Rim and Nut system that ferrari are using.

odd question. No it isn't.

What was Vettel playing at? Not even putting in lap in q3 at Monaco is suicide. I do love Monaco so hopefully another great race

Fastest lap is on a non-scrubbed set of tyres. If he can be really careful on them (and we've seen he can) he might last them nearly to the 2nd stop and get the under-cut.

My mate is there this weekend. Always goes to a few races. Looks great and is better from a fan/spectator perspective.

Voyage prive do a deal every year for ?ú600/head. Fly out in a private jet, lunch at the Casino, reserved viewing spaces and fly home.

I've always been tempted but really want to stay for dinner if I go so I'm putting it off until I've saved up for the Louis IV
