I work in the press for Rapid Vienna, and they have managed to do it...

Rapid Vienna offer their fans a two day package, a one day package and a VIP package for their EL qualifier against Dila Gori (another Tiblisi side).

Maybe the flight connections are easier from Vienna than London????

For those who don't speak German the article says it was hard to organise but they negotiated hard with the tour operator in order to be able to offer the fans a fair price for the package.

Actually no. What I want is for Spurs not to have to enter qualifying rounds at all if this is the level of the competition.

UEFA have engineered the CL so that most of the teams in it are pretty good (with the odd exception), and most of the matches are between highly regarded teams.Why not engineer this competition so that we skip this bit and go to the matches against Lazio and Valencia?

Well if Spurs would have won the English cup they would have qualified directly to the group stage, without having to play tbilisi.

A quick look on Expedia shows £500-£600 for return indirect flights to Tbilisi. Even the most dedicated Spurs fan would probably give that a miss!

With Rapid a two day package including double room costs €479, and the one day package costs €399.

Some would definitely consider the two day prices I reckon, for direct chartered flights.

It seems that ITV4 have had a re-think and the match will now be shown, K.O. at 5pm. Still not showing on their schedules though.
