It's not about ange, it's about accepting that whoever we appoint after him and whichever system, formation and personnel we deploy it is a gamble and one that may not work out with the first couple of rolls of the dice.
IMho opinion our fanbase set us up to fail with a combination of over expectations, a lack of patience and a grass is greener attitude.
Sorry for over expecting. I admit, it was a hell of an achievement for this club to beat the drop. And while we didn't quite get to the magical 40 points, we were well clear of the bottom 3 and I need to be grateful for that, I admit....

So other one either deliberately misrepresenting what I'm saying or doesn't want to address the point.
I'm recovering from sedation after having a snake stuck up my arse and I can follow it.

I suspect he's gone, would have been very easy for the club to jump on the bandwagon of emotion and say we are looking forward to preparing for the new season with Ange, they didn't.

I'm inclined to think Sunday killed off any chance of him staying. Winning a trophy after showing some tactical flexibility in the latter rounds, followed by a good performance and win in final game of the season would have ended on a positive.

Instead, another dire loss after leading just reminded everyone of the problems.

1. All teams have injuries, and that lot up the road had more than us and finished 2nd.
2. I doubt our squad will be bigger, just a little different. Please don't expect a lot of change
3. I don't believe that for a minute
4. Don't hold your breath. You may think you're seeing the class half full, I think you're kidding yourself
I feel you have made your mind up. We could go back and forth but let's just agree to disagree and get behind the team. As long as Ange is the boss I'll support him.

I seriously doubt anyone counted Sunday towards any decision considering the whole club have been partying every day leading up to it

Amen. The club sanctioned the parade on Friday so they what to accept that the players would be free to get, well, sloshed in most cases, or blotto in the case of Romero. Toe injury indeed!

So sodd the 57000 people who paid for tickets to watch the match, as long as the players all had a good p155 up that's all that mattered.
You're a happy soul aren't you? 🤣

Wed just won a European trophy for the first time in 50% of the fans in the stands lifetime - and based on the reaction inside the ground most were happy about that and the game be damned.

The club sanctioned it and provided the frecking booze
When I got sprayed with champagne by, I think, Jedinak, I didn’t complain once
I’m sure no one did
So to complain after Sundays game was imo daft
And I’d be genuinely worried if the club judge anything based on that game or any game in isolation
The negative trolls have said that he can’t be judged by the Europa league and they are right but it works both ways.
What Europa showed us is what can be achieved. What the league shows is what can go wrong
Big decisions

I can guess who your talking too
I have a lot of people on ignore on here as they don’t want to discuss anything if it’s not on their terms. Their terms are normally so negative it’s fudging draining TBH am I just keep them on ignore and live is better

And you’re 100% right. I didn’t go having literally spent the whole week before either travelling, watching or enjoying Tottenham things. Sold my ticket in 10 minutes via the club and I guarantee the fan that had my ticket will have loved the occasion

Yep, and I'm still buzzing, but that doesn't excuse the fact we gave up the game against Brighton so the players could get p155ed

Except the issue on the day wasn't tired/hungover players, it was same old, same old ..

Everything was highlighted, VDV off? 4 goals in 45 minutes, players making basic mistakes in positioning, lack of possession.

EL showed us that if we give up on everything else and change our style, then perhaps we can get a result, problem is that isn't the mandate.

If you think the players were fit and healthy to play …. Wow

Just letting people get on with their stuff without moaning when you are spending £1500 on a season ticket is easier said than done.
I can never dance with the transactional argument. I love the club, and much like life with my wife, theyll be ups and downs. BUT even stripping out all the emotional stuff that locks you in, and looking at it from that transactional pov...as I said I think this club does try it's very best within its constraints, I don't feel for one moment they're ripping me off. For sure, if I was a United fan I'd be fuming... they're no better than Thames Water.

Cheeky question though....is £1500 worth a UEFA Cup?.

is he actually paying that??? That’s ST money

But the players were smashed still

Like I said mate, I get, but in addition to the tired, no prepared, whatever caveat, it was same old mistakes.

Somebody published the numbers at end of season when VDV/Romero play vs not, basically take one of the two out and our results get worse by about a third, take both out and it's about a half. Guess what, we aren't going to have both of them always available, just like we won't always have Deki or whoever, the system operates too much on the edge.
