Why does the level of hardness need discussion? Who the fudge cares? All I've read about here all week is how it's not going to mean anything if we win it, because all the teams in the competition are brick. It's fudging depressing.

And yes. I stand by it. No one hates Spurs more than Spurs fans. Call it a "tossed out attack" all you like. Every other fudging week there's a protest or some other nonsense going on at Tottenham.
No, the protests are because these fans do love the club, can't you see that?

If a fan shows any dissent to the “Ange is great” line you’re on them like a limpet with your contexts and stats. If fans who have a different view to yours, do the same to back up their argument, you dig them out. For someone who decries personal insults on social media your posts are unnecessarily aggressive.

You’re obviously a passionate Spurs fan and because of that, I will always have respect for you. But this way of posting just riles people up.

Where have I dug him out in that???

I don't mind if someone comes back with a counter and has a civil discussion, but making out that people are just bad fans because they don't agree is ridiculous.

And the claim of "All I've read about here all week is how it's not going to mean anything" is absolutely wild, I haven't seen anyone say that, maybe missed it, but it can't be "ALL" ffs, talk about laying it on

Those same fans who I guarantee, for better or worse are the same fans spending money they don't have to go to the final........

I said all I've read on here. Never made any claims to what you've read.

I find this argument about the value of respective competitions a bit tedious tbh. All a team can do is beat whoever they meet. Fans of other clubs frothing at the mouth about it make me laugh. It’s feigned outrage from people who’d love their own clubs to be involved.

It's not complaining though is it, it's called having a conversation.

Saying a comp is weaker than the PL isn't a complaint it's just context on a subject based on a forum

Everyone has said they will love to win it also

Ahhhh adding rubbish to add relevance.

Saying a comp is weaker than another is nothing to do with hate, it just called opinion or knowledge

I think the PL is stronger than the EL. I also I think for Palace to win the FA Cup beating Fulham, Villa and Emirates Marketing Project in context of who they are shows a far harder route than us beating AZ, Frankfurt and Bodo........I would say that regardless of it being Spurs or someone else.

If you don't think that, thats fine, but this has nothing to do with w4nked out attacks like "hating your own" or "not wanting to win" or "hoping we lose to stick it to Ange"

Its a discussion of opinions on a football discussion board

For the record I think in order of relevance and hardness to win its:

PL-CL(close)-FA CUP- EL- LC- The other absolutely diminished cup that Uefa are pumping out

I often wonder what some people expect to see on a forum discussion board. I always thought the clue was in the name.

We got a good draw because we were seeded and then did the stuff in the group stages, if United win it they would have gotten results v Porto/Lyon/Bilbao/Sociedad/Spurs

Which puts a different spin on it

It is 100% a lesser quality than the PL, but I don't think you can compare it to winning the FA cup really

I think the FA Cups a harder cup to win, i think more so now replays are gone. That's just an opinion and not hating on Spurs

I think the new long league format makes it near impossible for anyone half decent to not make the knock outs where as you meet Liverpool, City, Arsenal etc early and your goose is cooked off the bat in the FA Cup

Agree with a lot of that. I remember the day after we won the CC in 2008 going into office still buzzing. A guy who supports Fulham then said, “Don’t get out of your tree it’s only the CC.” The retort of Fulham would love to be Spurs, that day, felt particularly satisfying. He’s one of the reasons I despise Fulham. As you can tell, we had a wonderful, harmonious workplace…

I think if the club's aim was to find an appointment that would unite the increasingly fractured fan base and address the increasingly bitter and hostile atmosphere at the stadium, then this guy's appointment can only be viewed as an unmitigated disaster. You only have to read the last few pages of this thread to verify that...

The blokes hasn't been a good manager and his legacy hinges fully on Wednesday. Anything else is to try to hard to excuse mediocrity up to this point.
