You have inside info about levy’s assassination? He did follow up saying the sometimes they kill off the main character, so something along those lines
The EL was clearly the exception to the rule - the results in the Lge, Lge Cup and FA Cup show that.If so that is ridiculous…. He gave us the best possible chance to win the cup, why jeopardise that to finish10th?
I know the owners of this club do not care about trophies but I would’ve thought all of us fans would’ve done so.
Ajax is my bet.He gets to go with his head and stock high and will get another shot at a bigish job to prove his philosophy.
He will allways be welcome and remembered here for what was a hugely emotional triumph.
If he would have been allowed to stay it's my belief that he's gone by Christmas and he's back to the backwaters and we as a club have wasted a season.
It was fun at times downright frustrating and embarrassing at others, he clearly had the players throughout and that given the league performances is a testament to his leadership skills.
But I think him and his philosophy were found lacking at the highest level with a team that were not equipped to play that way all the time.
It was fun but we all know it wasn't forever.
Good luck big Ange , will miss the way you dealt with the gutter media most of all .. good on ya mate.
See you again sometime but it's time to move on .. COYS
Greece and closer to familyAjax is my bet.
Maybe Germany
Greece and closer to family
Yep, back to the "I'm a better fan than you" brick ..
It's sunk in a bit but I feel a bit numb
Sad, and I think the euphoria of winning the Europa league is well and truly over and tarnished now, for me anyway.
Weirdly, even though it was a terrible league season, I want to cry and feel down.
The EL was clearly the exception to the rule - the results in the Lge, Lge Cup and FA Cup show that.
It wasn't just a bad spell, it was a consistent 18 months
Liked, then unliked because I couldn't agree with the bit about Euro Vase (I still couldn't give a toss about that), then liked again because the rest of it is exactly my thoughts.I’ve been in the out camp for ages, glad he’s gone, hated his football, and his attitude to the game.
I’m delighted we won the UEFA Cup, I have no ill will towards him personally, this is the right decision, the only logical decision.
It's mixed feelings for me. Relief and sadness really. I think it was the right decision. But it does leave another big decision to me made and not one that the club will necessarily get right. I feel sorry for Ange. He seems overall like a decent bloke that the players definitely took to and tried their best for.
Unfortunately I think Spurs was a step too high given his experience and his set ups were exposed by routine games at the elite level. He may have adapted over time and its a shame he didn't get a shot at a PL club with less pressure to hone his skills.
The club didn't give him the best chance to succeed with an inexperienced coaching set up and a transfer policy overly focused on the future and not so much on the now.
Despite all of that he did win our most prestigious trophy in certainly my lifetime memory and so actually I feel like its the right time for us to part ways. Ange can leave as a club legend without a more soured sacking after poor performsnces next season.
Over to the club to find the right head coach to get us back on track in the league
I just hope the next manager stands up for the club as well as Ange did.
