I’d prefer the democrats just get their act together and move back somewhat towards the middle. And go for someone left of centre and not far left like AOC.

AOC being considered far left in the US is nuts to me. And you are right Jurgen. She is that in the US. I don't mind her personally as I love Bernie but the US seems like it still isn't ready for a female at the helm. Scary tbh.

Mamdani shows what can be done or how you can resonate with people. Whether that can be stretched outside of the cities is another matter.

I posted a video a while back (maybe a different thread) that showed that your ideals and beliefs could remain the same but where you landed on the current left to right political spectrum would have changed
