Spotted this the other day from the 'fighting ****' website + podcast. Aren't some on here to do with it? Spooky? Anyway, all is explained in the following link.

Proper fans, watching the Spurs players of the future. This is proper football - cheap tickets and dedicated fans supporting the club and having a laugh. Get involved - let's make this a special night.

Sounds like a great idea wish I was over there would definitely go to this, outstanding podcast too the best of the bunch imo

Is there such thing as a blue flare? I wanna get hold of a few for this 'project', doubt they'll do much if it's a youth game and there's some decent numbers. The flares normally used at sea are red as obviously it contrasts with the blue background, but are there any other colours available other than red? Never red!

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly defines Ultras as opposed ot football fans. The word has negative connantations for me..Am I misguided?

'Ultras' are essentially extreme supporter's groups, on the continent mainly referred to as the hardcore fans who also like a bit of a ruck. This 'Tottenham Ultras' idea would probably be less about fighting and more about vocal support.

Thought this would have been the game at the Lane vs Liverpool for the Nextgen series QTR final.

?ú5 to get in.

I'm going cos I wanna see this Coubilas or whatever his name is.

I guess the Charlton fixture is more attractive, being at the Valley and in the FA Youth Cup.

Depends were you're from. Looking at 'Ultras' on the Continent and South America from afar here in Britain all you see is huge flags, passionate support and chanting.

It's all about the support. We've got some flak for associating ourselves by using the term 'Ultras' but we're looking to re-invent the word. It's not like we're going to turn up looking for trouble. We are there to sing for the youth team. Non-stop, for 90 minutes. It's going to look loopy/mental, grown men singing for kids in a game where we might out number the home support but the point of it is to give support to the young players that they would only really experience if they broke into the first team.

Charlton know we're coming. It's all in good spirit. ?ú5 at the door.

As for the pod. We've eased up on the homoerotic stuff. Well, sort of. If you've never listened try the last few eps.

That was my argument. But it really is only a word. If it turns out to produce a negative or two because other fans misinterpret what we are all about, we'll probably look to change it next time round.

It's a great idea, show we support the club and the shirt, no matter who plays.

If enough people turn up, it could be the best day of their career for some of the young ones.

And lets not get our panties in a bunch on the naming, media does that enough with regularity.
