    Wilson Odobert

Burnley fans on their message boards suggesting that the price could well be around the 30m mark.

Confirmed on Burnley's official site. Out of absolutely nowhere! Well done! Now on our own site too.

    Starting Eleven 24/25 Season

Pretty optimistic about the season ahead to be honest, esp if we can add someone like Solanke and a winger and/or a physical no. 6. Difficult to predict with four weeks of the window left. My guess: Vicario Spence, Romero, VDV, Udogie Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall Johnson, Solanke, Son Harsh on...

If Veliz goes on loan, and Scarlett leaves (either on loan or as a sale), we can do the numbers up front. Lankshear might just stay and wait for his chance. Will have Solanke (possibly) and Richi in front of him, maybe also Son and Deki. But offers something different than all four of them.

Yes, I noticed that when I posted just now. Would be ideal for him and for us, with only Brereton Diaz as a CF ahead of him and likely a lot of games to chase in the final 20 mins or so.

Veliz on loan to Southampton possibly? If true, sounds like a really good move for him - a chance to show his worth in the PL.

    Ben Davies

Definitely much better than Tramezzani and Atouba, certainly also a lot better than Edman and Taricco. I would say better than Ziege at Spurs - he was already over the hill when he arrived at WHL. About as solid as BAE, and much longer of course. Lots of other names here...

This is picking up some pace now it seems. Gil to Girona and Emerson to Milan, both to be sealed before the end of the weekend if all goes well. It would be nice if we can persuade Girona to buy him rather than take him on loan, or a Hojbjerg-like construction where they are obliged to buy him...

    Pre Season 2024

Unless Ange does not want a classic number 9, but prefers someone like Eze there. I too do not think that Eze makes sense, but it would be a statement (not sure we need that though). I would prefer us to sign a youngish number 9, someone like David from Lille.

This is assuming that one of Devine or Donley get a loan - most likely Devine.

    Pre Season 2024

So that would be, for this season: Vicario/Forster Porro/Spence 4 CB's including a new left-footed one who can also be back up to Udogie Udogie (+ Davies) Biss/Benta/Maddison/Deki Hall/Donley/Bergvall/Gray Son/Johnson/Richy/Werner (+ Solomon?) Lankshear or Scarlett 1 new striker That is a...

    Pre Season 2024

Useful overview. I'm sure we'll see a lot of outgoings. In defense, I think Phillips will get a loan, Dorrington is not fit, and Vuksovic is not here yet. So that leaves Romero, Van de Ven, and Dragusin. We need another left-footed player there, and someone like the Danish youngster from Lecce...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

And rightly so. We bossed the first half, and Ange's tactics with Sarr pressing forward were spot on, bringing out the best in Bentancur who had a really good game I thought. The extreme joy of the City players said everything about how concerned they were and remained during the game.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

By far the most interesting press conference he has done, much more revealing than the love-ins from the media at the beginning of the season. Somehow fills me with deep belief that he has a plan for next season, and in that respect Ange last night was totally different than Conte at Southampton...

    Antonio Nusa

And Van de Ven, who will not turn 23 until April, Dragusin, and Vicario - who could all be with us for another ten years if all goes well. THFC in 2030: Vicario; RB, Van de Ven, Dragusin, Udogie; Sarr, Devine, Donley; Nusa, Veliz, Deki. Would be fun to see that team in one of the earlier FA Cup...

    Ben Davies

My MOTM. I thought the way he picked up that yellow yesterday - professional, snuffing out a Forest chance with the faintest of touches - should be an example to Bissouma and Romero. Very effective, at an absolutely vital moment / part of the pitch, and no chance for the ref to give him a red.

    ***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Wolves OMT***

The best solution I think - but this is based solely on the second half against Chelsea with 9 men when I thought he was very good - is to use Hojbjerg's pace and passing skills at CB. We need our good players on the pitch, but we don't need Hojbjerg in midfield where we still have sufficient...
