Anyone else think that SpiderMan Homecoming wasn't all that great? I mean, it was ok, but looking at the IMDB reviews, it seems to have been rated as almost a masterpiece given the 10s issued out to the team as readily as candy is on a Halloween night.

Just finished the 2nd harry potter film, GHod they're awful. Wifey not speaking to me, after 4 margarita every time malfoy came I sang " he's one of our own, harry kane, he's one of our own".
How many more of these do I have suffer through?

Loving all the new trailers from San Diego Comic Con

Justice League and Thor Ragnarok's new trailers look really good especially the new Thor film

Was the volume at your screening deafeningly loud as I've read in some reviews?!

Yep and unbelievably one couple brought a very young baby into the cinema. Less than three months old I reckon, crazy to think they thought it was a good idea. Could have damaged the child's hearing for life.

i liked Hunt for the Wilder People so will give that other one a go soon i think - was Housebound by the same director by any chance? another kiwi film i saw recently which is worth checking out

wont be watching Thor though, some silly bloke running around with a magic hammer, have a word with yourselves :p

It was so loud that the dialogue was distorting when I saw it last night - so, ironically, I often couldn't make out what was being said.

I watched Dunkirk in a Superscreen at local multiplex (as the neighbouring IMAX was full up) and thought it was louder than most movies but not uncomfortably so. I don't know if that's due to how the audio was mixed for Dolby Atmos compared to the IMAX surround sound format.

The dialogue was occasionally a little difficult to understand like you say though (almost as bad as Bane in TDKR ) and I hope that couple had good ear defenders for their baby!

Watched Baby Driver, for the second time, last night. Enjoyed it even more than with the first viewing. Watching it for a second time, you see so much more and realise just how good a film it is. One of my favourites this year.

Saw it last night at the Imax in the Science Museum. Good GHod it was loud! Just a constant hour and three quarter attack on the senses.
Incredible peice of work though. Think I was suffering from PTSD after half and hour....

Saw Alien Covenant and somehow it managed to be even worse than Prometheus. Gave up after 40 minutes of watching poorly written characters make idiotic decisions. This is why I don't go to the cinema anymore.

Another sequel is apparently being planned already where they'll most likely do another rewrite of the same script.
