Cheatski are still scum

What a BRILLIANT performance from Spurs this year.

We've essentially won the DOUBLE this year.

There used to be a team called Chelsea who were on the brink of bankruptcy; they were given £1billion for free, and they JUST beat us to it.

Spurs won the DOUBLE this year.
Hold on, we'd still've had to beat the Scum in the final, but otherwise, well said.

John Terry really is a self indulgent narcissist. How else can you explain him suggesting to his manager that he should be substituted on 26 minutes because of his shirt number with a guard of honour to boot?
Chelsea should get charged by the FA, they seriously think they are above the law. Why couldn't they leave it until half time? You cannot interrupt competitive matches to show boat.

TBH the whole one man club thing is so hypocritical. It is easy to stay at Chelsea when you are paid the huge wages that they can afford. Who could out compete them?

David Moyes admitted last night that Sunderland deliberately kicked the ball out of play in the 26th minute of their Premier League match against Chelsea so that John Terry could enjoy a ceremonial farewell substitution.

The game at Stamford Bridge was interrupted for two minutes as the Chelsea captain, who is leaving the club this summer, was given a guard of honour by his team-mates. Terry had asked before yesterday’s match to be substituted in the minute that corresponded with his shirt number — 26.

The Football Association declined to respond when asked whether it would conduct a formal investigation last night, but the stunt could be viewed as a breach of its policy on match-fixing, which states: “Fixing is arranging in advance the result or conduct of a match or competition, or any event within a match or competition.” Some bookmakers offer markets on when throw-ins will be awarded during games. There is no suggestion that there was any attempt to fix the match.

Ten point deductions seem fair.

As much as I loath Terry, Chelsea's financial doping and some fans racist behaviour, I does feel a little hypocritical to slag them off over this.

Can we arrange for Harry to score his 100th goal on the 10th minute of our first competitive game next season, It's seems only fair.

Oh and I think West Ham should be allowed to score on the 66th minute in every game to commemorate their winning the World Cup.

To quote Dirk Bogarde from Stella Street: "Any misfortune that befalls them, however ghastly...can only bring me joy."

If it had been Conte's decision I would not have blames Terry one iota, but it just seems pompous for him to ask to come off specifically in the 26th minute.

The question is, are they within their rights to manipulate the sporting contest for third party reasons?

It was effectively spot fixing.

There was a spot fixing incident a few years ago when people were betting on who would give away the first throw in.

Here it also goes beyond Chelsea making the decision to substitute Terry, they got the other team to go along with it.

I doubt there is any foul play, but this was incredibly stupid*. The number of people who knew means word could have got out to someone willing to have a bet. If someone somewhere had a bet on it, it could get embarrassing.

* A fitting send-off for Terry.

If we did this with say Ledley would we care what others said especially Chelsea!
Their within their rights to do what they like with their players, as we did with our goodbye to WHL etc.....

Lets not be so churlish.

If I had known before hand I would have placed a big bet on the ball going out in the 26th minute :D
