Nah this is different. The days of Carr being in charge and speculating to accumulate and only signing players under 25 are over. Rafa has final say and full control on transfers and we've recruited well for positions we need not just signed players irregardless of team need based on potential to resell. Matt Ritchie and Gayle are very good signings in needed positions, should take the tinkle in the Championship and then be solid squad players next year when we are back in the Premier League and pushing for the top 6.

Things are very, very different under Rafa. He has full control and is one of the best managers in the world.

The difference is that Rafa doesn't speculate on value, he just buys lots of players.

Mate, while I agree, Pool wins that trophy by a large gap every season, the rest of us play in the Deluded Championship, they own the Deluded PL all by themselves.

Add in the permanent victim card, the biased media (majority ex-Pool players) and they win as worst fans of any PL club.
