And we're still not getting any respect. Odds makers have Manure and Pool as bigger favorites to win the EL than us. Gotta laugh.

it's because we met tourney's favourite in 1/8... Odds would have been different (in our perspective) if we changed opponents with Liverpool f.e.

Perhaps in large part to the amount of money laid. Put some money on us and keep the bookies happy.
 
If we beat BVB then our odds would drop significantly. Right now we probably would be longer odds because we have arguably the biggest team in the tournament as our next opponents. If anything, now would be the time to start putting money on us.

We have probably had the hardest run of any of the teams in the competition. Anderlecht and Monaco are good teams, Fiorentina are currently in the top 3 in Serie A and now BVB. I don't think we could say it's been a weak competition this year.

I looked pre-draw and we were third favourites behind Dortmund and Sevilla, and ahead of both Liv and Utd.

As pointed out above though, that's now changed due to the draw we've been handed and the fact Liv and Utd play each other, so one is guaranteed a last 8 place.
 
Thankfully, the two EL fixtures are before matches against Aston Villa (away) and Bournemouth (home). We should be able to field full strength teams in all the four fixtures.
 
66,000 capacity for european fixtures so we should get 6,500/7,000 for the away leg. I'm a member and won't get a ticket through normal channels but have booked up a train journey via Brussels for £150 return with the hope of grabbing one in either end whilst out there.

We'll get no more than 3-3.5K. They had 500,000 apply for CL tickets one season.

Away allocation is a separate entity. We are entitled as far as I am aware, 10% if we request it. If we are refused 10% then we should give them the same percentage back which would equate to around 1,800 for them which wouldn't be ideal. I would expect us to get the 10% we can request tbh.

What's the allocation rate? Something tells it's either 5% or 10%

As has been the rule in Europe for many years now, they are required to provide at least 5% of their capacity. A minimum of 3300 or so. They have a massive following and won't be giving away anything extra.

In the PL it's 10% and domestic cups 15%.
 
Just read we've drawn Dortmund. Great European night and I have to say I think we have a chance although Dortmund must be favourites to go through.

It's ties like these in Europe that makes being in the Europa Cup worthwhile.

It is 5% under the previous UEFA cycle but it states at least 5% so it might well be in order for Dortmund to obtain more tickets at WHL they will give us a bit more. We might well get 5k if we are lucky and in return give them 2.5k

I would be very surprised if the club if we gave them anything more than the minimum.
