Last line says it all though. Of course we would take Suarez without his bad side, however you can't do that. He's shown that he can't stay away from the racism and biting, so no.
 
No. Reason simply is that I dont think he is unique enough to warrant the hassle. Liverpool would ask £30m for him and if we really were prepared to shell out £30m on someone and pay the wages that that sort of player would want, there are other players out there who dont come with the baggage which he does

(for jimmy b: we wont be paying £20m+ for anyone this summer)
 
Suarez, I want that type of striker.. like Tevez. Gives you 100% desire, and happens to be brilliant. I would snap the hand of Emirates Marketing Project if we could get Tevez, and he wanted to stay in the UK.

Another like it is PSG's Lavezzi, might be available, as I am damn sure if I was playing in France I would be quiting that country because of the 75% tax rate.. overnight there take home has halved. IMO Ibrahimovic will join City in the summer.

Biting someone on the pitch is inexcusable. The Evra situation was bs based on word vs word with no evidence. Negrito is not even a racist word. I know because I've lived in South America and understand in what context that word is used there.

It may not be considered racist in Uraguay, but does that mean you would go around calling black people negrito in Europe? Words mean different things in different countries.


It's not just those though, it's the constant diving, appealing for everything, the petulance, pretending to be injured when he does a horrific 'tackle', the stamps, the rakes down the back of ankles, the punching a player. The list is huge. He's a liability.

Yep but he's in Europe and you have to adapt to where you live depending on the culture in that country. If you moved to Kuwait you couldnt expect to have a drink on the street or for your wife to walk around in a thigh length skirt or show her shoulders - similarly Suarez cant expect to say negrito over here

Diving like Bale? I'm not defending his actions, but he is not the only player that does this on a football pitch. Suarez wants to win so badly that he can't controll himself on the field and is acting like a child. That's how I used to behave when I played football in 3rd grade, minus the horrific tackles.

I agree that is a liability but I would still take him in a heartbeat because of his qualities. I consider him to be one of the best strikers in Europe and he would greatly improve our team. AVB's man management skills would probably calm him down and re-focus his negative energy into something positive.

Yep totally get that as I've lived in 7 different countries so I had to adapt myself. But saying a word that you grew up with that is not racist in your country doesn't make you a racist, especially if it was in the heat of the moment.

He wants to win, but he will do anything to do it. Cheating, diving, anything he can think of it and that part of his character will never change, so still a no from me.

You are being racist, yes.

When you move to another country you become bound by their laws. Whether it is OK to do something in Uruguay is irrelevant. He lives in the UK therefore he will live by the laws in the UK.

I know he's not the only player that dives. If he can't control himself then he has no place in the team. It is a team game, the objective is to win as a team. If you can't trust one of your team mates to control his own actions than he's got no right being out there on the pitch.

One of the best strikers football wise. However he will tarnish the reputation of whichever club he is at, and will cost the club when he decides to do another stupid thing and is suspended for it.


He's a lost cause. AVB would not save him. He has been like this all of his career. It is what he is like as a person that is the problem. You can't control people like him, see Balotelli at Emirates Marketing Project.

So why was even using the word in the first place then? Why was he referring to Evra's skin colour?

It's possible to be racist without using racist words. The words 'black' and 'c**t' individually aren't racist. But saying 'you black c**t' to a guy (that's black lol) on a football field is racist
 
I'd take him in a 'no-brainer' situation. i.e. if we were offered him for £10 million it's a no-brainer and we should take him.

However if we forked out 20+ million for him I'd be disappointed we didn't spend it on somebody I'd actually like.

I would support him if he wore our shirt though, not to the extent the Liverpool fans do, but I'd accept it.
