*** Tottenham v Inter OMT ***

Will be very interesting to see what kind of team AVB goes with tonight. Hoping to see a couple of squad players and rest a couple of key players. The weekend game will be very important for our league season.

agreed, or at least rest key players once we have scored a goal, I think Fulham is a very important game which hopefully will see us kick on for the rest of the season

Did I read somewhere that Inter will be fielding a weakened team?

I might have imagined that (or read it while I was drunk).

Not particularly. If you recall Dembele and Parker went through Inter's midfielder like a hot knife through butter.

I,m worried. Without any strikers or attacking midfilders....

This shows how poor we really are in depth of squad.. I mean Defoe,s not going to score is he?

We could have a great Team but we need strikers..not players we have to carry.

and we lack a creative player who can fill in when Bales not there..

anyway.. I hope I'm wrong!

If Inter play a weakened line up, we'll tonk them (provided everyone's got their shooting boots on).

Let's see how it starts.

Generally speaking, Spurs have a pretty good record against Italian teams in European competitions...

We have two attacking midfielders. Holtby and Siggurdsson.

There's always the chance we won't need one. AVB could always start two up top.

Defoe could score, i would bet against it. He did well against Inter's back line last week.

..other than the Crouch game against Real Madrid, we've never in our history lost in European competition by a scoreline that would see us go out....

Holby has to prove he can score and make goals and Siggy still has to prove his worth in the big time!

#THFC team tonight: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton, Dembele, Parker, Livermore, Sigurdsson, Defoe & Adebayor #COYS

#THFC subs: Lloris, Caulker, Huddlestone, Assou-Ekotto, Carroll, Holtby & Lennon #COYS

Hmm....

Would have liked to see Holtby start, also think Caulker could probably do with some football. I'm not sure how I feel this one's going to go, it might be a brick thing to say but I do anticipate being very frustrated, the thought of Ade and Defoe up top together the way they're playing worries me, hopefully they'll prove me wrong and link up well together.

Great to see Lennon return.

Strong team from AVB, very few players rested, go out and do a job.

Glad to see Livermore get another start, hopefully he can do a good job against the somewhat slower Inter side. Dembele was great from the right in the first half against Liverpool, think he can do some real damage again today.

Off to the pub! COYS!

Inter XI v Tottenham (6pm): Handanovic; Jonathan, Juan, Chivu, Zanetti; Gargano, Kovavic, Cambiasso; Guarin, Cassano, Palacio.
