you tell me how the hell you run a farming operation without offering a potential profit?

Every year that industry digs out incredible efficiencies whilst left facing the forces of international markets for machinery, tech, chemicals, fert and fuel as well having to account for environmental challenges and legislation.

The only thing the state is effort one at is collecting taxes and redistributing excess to its clients.

Countries like Canada, the States and Ukraine have the land for growing crops we do not.

Drogan captured rare, high-tension footage of drug usage in camps and chaotic scenes, women trapped on overcrowded dinghies, and heavily armed Gendarmes aiming guns towards migrants and chauffeuring smugglers.

Drogan believes that findings from this investigation raises many questions surrounding the French and British authorities' inability to deal with this crisis.

I don't know the ins and outs of UK farming but it is not about land. Holland is the 2nd biggest exporter of food in the world and is about 17% the size of the UK. It is about choices and priorities. Farmers need to make a profit, though, as you say, so that's where they aim for rather than what the country needs. It is the same in most places thanks to neoliberalism.

Canada doesn't have a lot of arable land, incidentally.

Farage might squirm his way out of it in a legal sense, but his stock is dropping, and this is a disaster for reform. The guys in that video are doing crime so I can't see them escaping.

It's night and day. They are so far ahead it's insane.

I haven't caught up on that series. I'll look forward to that.

There is nothing in Holland that could not be replicated in the UK, though. Farmers need to be incentivised to do it.

Clarksons farm, beyond the comical parts, does a very good job at shedding a light on the struggles of UK farmers to us ordinary folk. Obviously Jeremy can rise above it but he's not shy of highlighting the brick show he and other farmers have to deal with, daily.

Yes, but it's no more blatant than Russia funnelling him money through Aaron Banks for Brexit, and they got away with that.
