***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Saturday August 29th, 5.30pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium***

seems very much they are worried about playing players with even a small knock now. From one extreme to another.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine did not play well. They scored from their first shot on target. The second was comedy gold. We huffed and puffed and you could see the desperation after we went 2-0 down. Next week he need to play the strongest team available from the start.

I thought RDZ would realise that but instead went out to buy ball playing defenders instead of ones who could actually defend. We got caught defensively for both goals and got caught one on one several times. Oh and plus we are looking to get rid of our best defensive defender. Yeh look loads of time yet. But we have cleared the decks of out and out defenders.

Im all for a painful rebuild, just calling today what it was.

I still have faith but the manager has to adapt with what he has, I can't be one who shrugs and says "oh well, its a regmbuild" after those two opening games

This season should be different from last season with the money spent but same old issues, concede goals while unable to score. Doesn't look good so far.

The defence should be a unit. But they are not performing as one at the moment. Also watched Saudi Sportswashing Machine get Wissa and Elanga into the pocket between our defence and midfield. Less said about their second goal the better.

We went 2-0 down with nearly half an hour to go but Saudi Sportswashing Machine kept a defensive shape and we created very little.

I think we failed ultimately because we have some square pegs in round holes. Get round pegs in round holes and we di a bit better.

Couldn’t really tell
Looked like square pegs in round holes I agree because the system wasn’t there

And their manager had been there for less time than ours
They looked organised
We looked like individuals again
 
Think it’s going to be a long season. Need a 10 and a LW . Maddison is a risk to rely on.

Tel. Deary me. How that was ever made permanent is baffling. Dreadful 9 out of 10 performances.
