Really? I would've thought it would be like real Spanish and Mexican Spanish...interesting.I once worked with a Brazilian and a Portuguese and they said it was easier to converse between them in English.
I'm not sure that's true. The main difference is Brazilians pronounce the vowels at ends of words whilst the Portuguese don't. The difference is maybe similar to Victorian English (Portugese) vs modern American (Brazilian). Young Portuguese also now adopt Brazilian habits, as its seen as much less stuffyI once worked with a Brazilian and a Portuguese and they said it was easier to converse between them in English.
