Sorry matey, no idea at all. I know some of the commercial team at Spurs and a couple of the youth coaches but you only really get general vibes from them. My Dad hears lots of things from agents (a few of which he knows very well indeed) but that is mainly player related and nothing to do with the running of the club (though from them we can probably tell whether or not we have changed our pay structure.

What I will say though is. that it is difficult to unpick 8 years of being badly run and see genuine results in the first year. If I can’t see genuine improvements in another couple of years time then I would be very worried, unlike some though I’m prepared to give a reasonable amount of time to find out whether or not this exec team is better than the last.

Yes, I hear things about players via similar sources (through friends) and know a few folks at the the club. I have always got the impression it has been a lot of change in structure and rather tough on everyone as we get used to the changes being made. No-one who is smart is going to spill a full packet of beans, and no-one who is respectful would ask anyone to do so. Thus totally understood!
I think in fairness, your patience towards this exec team is warranted, albeit I'd caveat that we really do need the Lewis family to show up as of now!

I’d prefer never to read about him again tbh. And there doesn’t seem to be anyone in a hurry to give him a new job. Everyone assumed he’d go to Palace but it sounds like they’re looking elsewhere.

Are new faces not part of the restructure though? (unless you are not talking about the human part of the restructure?), so them being appointed or not would reflect on progress?.

I don't think we can expect too much too quickly, it's going to take time for any changes to actually tack effect and even then there is no guarantee the changes themselves will be effective.

Can't really be very far along considering

- Lange is probably gone (zero mention of him in 3 letters to fans, no interviews) and we haven't replaced him (a huge gap and unforgivable considering importance of this summer and transfer window). DoF is arguably 1st/2nd most important role in club.
- Medical review (yet again) is probably on the table
- A coherent strategy re our youth/academy/loan model doesn't seem to exist (we have way too many players out on loan)
- Vinai himself probably had to have some tough conversations with Lewis family re this season (employees under review rarely do their best work)

The bigger issue is the deflection, if Vinai rarely thinks our training ground being too nice is the issue, we have bigger problems.
