Richarlison

Fair play to him he worked his socks off today. Same with Solanke. Works hard but hes not in the box much and hardly ever troubles the keeper.( Solanke that is).
Richy does get in those goalscoring positions much more than Dom.
In isolation that's true but Solanke has brought a far greater threat over the time he's been at the club. Dom's great at disrupting back lines with his closing down and pressing from the front, which can be great for winning the ball back high and creating chances.

Oddly enough between Solanke, Richie and Muani we have three quite different strikers who compliment each other, if only in style and not consistency. Tel then is all passion and direct flair off the wing. If we could get a tune out of those four we wouldn't be where we are, that was absolutely the issue Frank had.

Getting into goalscoring positions remains an underrated quality for a striker imo.

Always plays with heart and emotion.

If they had to do a little less donkey work and were fed/supported by the rest of the team ....by my reckoning they could become an impactful 'odd couple' up front.

Both can finish.

Let's just hope they can both give us enough this season to stay in this league. Both have a the right attitude at least. 🙏

(Btw...I'm sure Richie kicked that shot on to his other (standing) foot yesterday!??)

He's a player that will do what he does regardless of what is going on around him - he'll pop up with a goal and he'll work hard. Exactly what you need in these sorts of situations

Yup, the type of battler team needs in a relegation scrap; as he demonstrated at Everton.

Hopefully we avoid the drop then upgrade to a forward with the ability to fill that gaping void left by the departure of Kane & Son, so we can start fighting for a Top 4 spot rather than continuing to worry about Bottom 4!

Think he's suspended for midweek...so a nice week off to tune himself up for Forest.
I recall a game against them a few years ago when Richy set up a Kane goal with a lovely cross and also got body-slammed by Brennan Johnson for doing keepy-uppies.
If he can set up a goal in a win and elicit bookings for them again that'd be just great. Prep yourself pigeon man!
