Richarlison

The bus service is excellent. One of the many ways in which a trip to Malta is like time travelling to Britain in the 1950s. It's a place where a Double Diamond still works wonders...
I have driven in Malta, it's mad. Even though they drive on the left they give way on the left. This means if you are on a roundabout you have to stop and give way. It did my head in

Lots of ifs

- If we know Solanke is over his injury
- If we know Deki is also close
- If the sale of Richi is the difference between us getting a 60M striker and a 80M+ (potential real 20+ goals a season striker)
- If they can be done without some period of time in-between (not weeks of neither available)
The striker doesn't have to cost £80m or even £60m. You're attributing cost too directly to the quality of the player. Besides we already have 2x "£60m" strikers and neither is particularly special or worth £60m if we were to sell them on.

Last season's PL top 10 scorers had 5 players in the list all whom scored over 14 goals and none cost more than £35m for those clubs. Go back further and the top 3 themselves could have been acquired for less than £35m as well if you got them before their last big move.

So these players do exist you just need good scouting and fudging balls to actually go for them at the time just before they blow up. Instead we wait until they are already at that status but then wonder why we can't compete with in other terms in terms of prestige or winning potential or outright can't or won't match the financial demands required.

Buses can be good but depends what time you get them and how far you've going. We got on one of the ex London fire buses and it was like sitting in an oven.

it goes horseshoe because richy can't hold the ball and play the ball off him to others enough to be repeatable. i imagine if richy starts laying it off to bentancur and simons - eventually they'd learn to overlap. right now they are both expecting to defend the counter.

regarding kane - he has the smarts to drop back to be an auxillary deep lying playmaker very effectively - richy could but doesn't try any of the sort.
A forward pass in the centre of the pitch to a midfield player every now and again would be nice to see….
