***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project, Sunday Feb 1 KO - 4.30pm***

Frank deserves huge credit for his current ability to eek out momentum with this injury crisis. As with Burnley we could have easily won and been good for it, as it is I take what we have done recently and move forward
Many of us said earlier in the season that Solanke, in the absence of any other decent number 9 was a big miss and having this focal point would improve our attack. I also maintain if we had had either Maddison or Kulu available for at least some of the season we would be higher up the table. Hopefully we can carry on the form to the next game. And also do at least the same to the gooners as we've done to City to even out the chance of City coming back at them.

I missed this one due to being host to family, sounds like a belter, in the end.

Ange had injuries and generally lost in the league, we are depleted again but picking up points along the way.

Frank is doing as well as he can with what we have right now.

Really good second half after a for me poor first half.

Keep reading that our players just aren't good enough, but to me it seems that almost every time we take the handbrake off we look alright.

Can't be too harsh on Frank after that second half and with the number of players missing up against City, not surprising that we end up being second best.

Just hope there aren't any new significant injuries.

Agreed that Xavi and Solanke were really good, but think Palhinha deserves a shout out. Really impressive performance.
Totally agree with this, especially the bolded

Our available attacking & creative players this season are largely inexperienced at this level bar Richarlison & Bentancur - i think that it has been acknowledged that the youngsters & new to the league players have some potential between them and aren't complete write-offs - but ultimately they will bring inconsistent performances with that level of experience.

We look good when the players are not making unforced errors, to many times we are on the back foot because of an error, not because the handbreak is on or off.

Even today, both goals are completely avoidable, we go in at half time and its 0-0 it would have been a decent half, we still have to many inconsistent and error prone players to really kick on

Not sure about that. The set up was wrong in the first half but I do like him playing off Solanke. You can see the talent and skill, the one moment he turned his man on the right touchline so easily. Just needs some consistency around him and to build up his confidence.

Didn’t think he was bad today, just the wrong formation for the first half.

But we do need to do better with our transition attacks.

Indeed.

I thought 3-4-3 would work, but crucially I think the CM pairing was ‘off’. I don’t blame Biss, but he plays a diff game to Frankball, and was clearly caught between himself and the system on the first goal. We just did not seem sure who and when to engage and press first-half, and I concede that the system was largely part of that.

Second-half was fun. I wish we could put together 90 mins like that, but in context I’ll take it. Well done all, including the manager.

I also think our younger players are used to a different type of game, and it has taken them some time to adapt to what TF looks for.

The team run their hearts out in that second half, that 9 minutes added time must have made them nervous as many didn't have much left. I thought if Xavi shot goes in City would have collapsed but we had a bit of luck at the back as City pumped in the crosses but we earned that.
I don't think anyone deserved to be Motm it was a fantastic team effort in 2nd half given the score, opponents and our resources.

There is also issues where players who are not up to it long term, who should have been moved on now or at least should be looking to move on are pulling us down.

Bissouma as one glaring example, absolutely no reason for him to be here next season IMO.
